"Built-in messages circular display (The messages are not editable)"I wish I had noticed this part. The text is really distracting and has some awkward messages. I love you? Really? "Hot summer" and "be cool" are ok, but the i love you one is just strange.It's also much brighter than I anticipated, and is pretty distracting no matter where I put it.I do like it, hence the three stars, but it's not quite what I expected. It would be SO much better without the text, which is one I found for a third of the price. I'm going to return this one if I can and grab the one without text.

A very cool fan with temperature censor, text, am "analog" clock in beautiful clear and crisp colors and effects from LEDs mounted on the fan-blades. it's quiet and even pushes a lot of air.I only gives it 4 stars for being a bit "off axis" as the 12-indicator is about 1 cm on the left of the top and it did not come with a USB Power Supply. That may be the reason for the minor flaw; my USB Power Supply might be to week to center the clock.

What an exceptional, quality piece this light weight little high velocity shiny black cradle fan is. First, and foremost, during operation it is soothingly quiet, while concurrently moving air like nobody's business! Secondly, it's beautifully brilliant, colorful green, red, and blue neon like animated led read out design provides the user not only with a great little accurate analog face clock complete with sweep second hand, but also a constant, exact current centigrade temperature read out of the environment the fan is being operated in. Included with that centigrade temperature read out which rotates around over the mid portion of the clock face in bright rich neon blue, are the following four successively appearing, and then disappearing simple, brief, encouraging phrases in the same rich blue color and lettering: "TAKE IT EASY," "HOT SUMMER," "BE COOL," and "I LOVE YOU." I really appreciate, and enjoy every aspect of this compact, multi featured little essential device so much that I've begun showing it to my friends who are all quite taken with it as well! I've read all of the other reviews on the fan here, and have to agree with those who state that if any improvement might ever be made it should be first, and foremost a switch be returned to the back panel of the fan which previously enabled the user to change the temperature read out to Fahrenheit from Centigrade if they so desired. Other than that, this is a truly standout, useful little unit on every level! The quality, and innovation of this fan is such that Brookstone Catalog should seriously consider replacing the clock only version of it which they currently have been selling in all their stores.

the little fan has endured the test f time, i finally go around to doing this review and its still running.the only mini complaint i'd have is that is won't save the time, so when it looses power the clock resets. so just.. don't rely on the clock and be happy you have a fan that greets you and tells you the room temp

Works well. LEDs turn on the high speed setting only. Good air output. Not too much noise. Displays three alternating messages.... Hot Summer with temp. I love you. Take it easy. Messages are not editable. Clock sets easily. Does not display Fahrenheit

A truly "cool" and innovative product! We love it!

Very awesome !

As a desk fan it works fine. The clock does not keep time. You cannot change the messages that show up, the temperature is in celcius, and there is no led display at low speeds.
