Lighting features are misrepresented
I am giving this one star because I specifically asked seller in advance if device could be dimmed, and light temperature changed , through both Alexa and remote. Dimming does not work at all, and you can only change color temperature through the remote. Not through voice. Here are the details of what Smart features this does have and does not, broken down per smart interface:Smart Life App - It allow you to change the level of fan speed. You can turn the light on and off, but there are not dimming options. There are no color temperature options, either. In order to change color temperature in ALL INTERFACES, you have to quickly turn the light on and off, which triggers the next color temperature. You can cycle through 3 different temperatures this way. Pretty annoying that there in no dedicated button for this ANYWHERE. The app also has Timer settings, fan modes, and motor direction. You also change the name of the light. This is important because this is the name with which Alexa will see the light.Included Remote - You have a reverse motor button (summer/winter), dedicated buttons (1-5) for fan speeds, 3 timer buttons (1 hr, 4hr, and 8hr), Fan Off/on button, and light on/off button. Again, no dimming button at all, and no color temperature. Color temperature CAN be changed with the remote, but same as above. You must quickly turn light on/off to trigger a cycle of color temperatures until you hit the one you want. Again, really inconvenient.Alexa app (the app itself, not voice) - Alexa will see this fan as two seperate devices. It will see the fan as a SCENE, not a device. It will see the light as a device. I recommend making a group and placing them together. Under the light, you finally have a setting for dimming. You have buttons that say Min, 20, 40, 60, 80 and Max for light settings. Tapping them does nothing. Alexa app just says "device is unresponsive", and you get no beep from the fan like you get on all other commands. For the fan, since it is a Scene and not a device, you cannot do anything by tapping on the app. It is voice control ONLY.Alexa voice commands - Remember that it is important to name the light on the Smart Life app. I named mine "fan light". Once you do, you can say "Alexa, turn on/off the light". You are SUPPOSED to be able to say "set light to x%" for dimming, but Alexa will say device is unresponsive, just like when you click the buttons on the Alexa app as I explained above.. Also, just like the app, using the command "set fan to cool white/warm white/etc" does not work. Alexa will say that your device does not support that feature. While the fan does indeed support color temperature changing, it seems the ONLY way to trigger that is quickly turning the light on/off. Dimming seems to be completely absent, even though there are some app hints that it should be working, but it isnt.I give this one star because I had to buy the fan and get it installed to be able to get all the information I wanted about this fan functionality. Everything I described for you, the reader, above is what I wanted to know before I bought the fan, and the seller did not provide enough information to answer all of the above. Not only that, seller correctly stated that this fan is dimmable, when it is clearly not. This product is promoting FALSE ADVERTISING.

a good update for a smart home
Every light, wall switch, and a few plugs in my house can be voice controlled. 64 devices. When our 30 year old bedroom fan light pull switch gave out, I settled on this fan after much research. I based the decision on price, design, and Smart-Life app to Alexa app compatibility. This fan replacement was easier than 5 others I've replaced, because it has a wiring harness on the hanging bracket. It took about an hour to be up and running. The only tricky decision was whether to use the inbound red wire or the black wire (red in my case). The fan was easy to add to the wifi network, and it automatically set up the scene that allows voice control to turn on the fan and LED light separately. The other reviewers are correct about a limitation in the firmware. Color temperature does not adjust by voice control, even when setting up a "routine" in Alexa. It seems like this bug could be addressed by a firmware update, if Reiga included a firmware update path in the wifi receiver. The forward and reverse feature can be changed in the Alexa app or on the remote, but not as a voice routine (which is another opportunity for a firmware update). The fan operates without any vibration and the air volume is as advertised. I was uncertain about whether the LED light would illuminate the entire master bedroom, and it does fine with the daylight color temperature. I'm happy with the purchase.

Quiet fan that moves a lot of air
So far so good. Very quiet operation. It moves a lot of air even at low speeds. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the light does not have any dimming control. Depending on whether you require that, this can be a deal-breaker. I am not using Alexa or App integration, so I can't comment on that. The included hardware remote works well.
