I read all the reviews for this product and pondered purchasing it for my husband and his anxiety and back and neck pain. I finally took the plundge and got it for Christmas even though it's not something he would normally want but he's plagued with back and neck pain and anxiety every day. He was taking anti anxiety medication every day in small doses. Since I gave him the mat he hasn't taken any at all that I know of. He lays on it every day and shows real enthusiasm about it and encourages me to get on it which is not typical. He's usually very docile and passive but he likes this thing so I know it's helping him tremendously!I have similar symptoms but not as severe as him. I also get migraines. I have laid on the mat many times. I have a high tolerance for pain (birthed 3 children naturally and have multiple tattoos and piercings) and I think this mat is fantastic. The spikes give you just the right amount of pressure. I read one review from a woman who said she was bleeding afterwards but I haven't had any such experience or felt like the mat might break the skin. If you understand the phrase "hurts so good" and you have back pain, anxiety, insomia etc etc you should totally buy this ... or even if you don't and just like the destressing effects that a little bit of pain can have.I was NOT given a discount to give my honest opinion. I just enjoy enjoy giving my opinion :)

This might be the best acupressure mat on the market. I own the travel sized Spoonk as well, and there is little to no difference. If anything this mat may be better. I loved my Spoonk s much that I wanted a regular sized mat and pillow but had a hard time shelling out the money for the price of the Spoonk. I decided to give the ZenGuru a try, thinking the quality might not be as good and if I didn't like it I could always return it. I am so glad I tried it. The spikes, if that is what you call them, are identical. No difference in quality whatsoever. And with the ZenGuru you get so much more mat and pillow than you do with other brands without a compromise on quality.Acupressure mats take some getting used to for sure, they are not plesant and can even be called painful at first...but stick with it and you will be so glad you did. I originally bought this for my back pain (I have chronic pain as a result of mild degeneration in my thoractic spine). While my back pain has slightly improved, the most notable change has been in regards to stress level and sleep. It is UNREAL. After about five min my whole body and mind relax and I am able to almost instantly fall asleep at night. This has been such a great gift in my life. I am thrilled I found it and recommend it to everyone!

I received this product for a fair review. I wasn't sure about this product. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist. I specialize in pain management and chronic conditions such as migraines, frozen shoulder, low back pain, and other common conditions. I used modalities such as Trigger Point Therapy, Acupressure, Deep Tissue, NMT, Energy, etc. I wasn't sure if these little pieces attached could actually help reduce and even eliminate pain. I was wrong. I have used it every night before bed....except one night when I was out late. I woke up missing it. I love how it warms up and hurts so good. Then you start to feel the tight tissue just melt around the little pins. Delicious. I now can, very slow, raise up both legs to hug them in tight so that I can really feel it in my mid back. I just pull up my tail and lean back to roll up on the upper back. I love using the pillow on my upper shoulders and neck by crushing it against a wall while leaning over to get leverage. Did I mention how delicious it is?!?! So many ways to use it! Now I don't need to go to a fellow massage therapist to get rid of my pain, soreness and limited range of motion....unless I want. ;) One of the few "alternative" treatments I have tested that actually worked. I love it.

I thought this was a risky product to buy, but now I can't live without it! I have chronic severe migraines. The kind where I wish I can drive a nail through my temple or back of neck to relieve pressure. This pillow helps relieve some neck and migraine pain when I have a migraine and helps reduce/if not eliminate the pain if I use it at the start of a migraine. It has helped me cut down on my Sumatriptan (migraine pain reliever) use! I have a migraine constantly and have been experiencing debilitating migraines about half of the month lately. If you deal with migraines, I think this will be a must have in your migraine kit!

I was very skeptical about this product. They were not joking when they said that it would be uncomfortable for couple of minutes, past that 2 minutes my back was relaxed and I felt the relaxation for 24 hrs until the next day. And I only did it for 10 mins , 2nd day after 2 minute I fell asleep. I felt good . I have had cervical spine surgery and also has spinal stenosis and lumbar spine herniation. I have tried quite a few products i.e. Non medicinal, I can tell you that this has been a great experience. Thank you. I have not received any compensation of any form.

How do I review this? Uhh, sweet, painful, healing. Honestly the oddest product I have ever used, if you can hold out say 4-5 mins. not necessarily pain but more of a weird prickly feeling, just DO NOT move once you lay on it, that's where pain and burning sets in, trust me I know.After about 5 mins. your whole body heats up as if you are basking in the warmth of the sun. Instructions say to start slowly, well for me that did not happen because I actually fell asleep after I was able to relax and settle in about 7 mins and was asleep on it for about 30 mins. Woke up feeling refreshed and at peace. If you're a big baby or have sensitive baby skin this product might not be for you. However, if you can learn to relax, settle into it and just enjoy it, you will find yourself on a whole new level of peace, relaxation and pain free. Do not let fear of the unknown scare you away it really does help heal.

Got this for my husband who suffers daily headaches, he was a little sceptical of the whole thing but uses it daily and hasn't taken panadol since using it.

Absolutely love this product.I have used it three times and every time feel so wonderful after. I highly recommend. Very quick delivery as well.

Product is different from what it looks
