Hayes Paper Co, Waterslide Decal WHITE LASER (A4, 20 Sheets)

I’ll give 5 stars because I’m sure the product would work for other materials. However, it does not work for a cone 04 kiln firing. They disintegrate into iron-y dust. I bought this brand because a fellow potter said he got them to work. We’ve tried everything and we just can’t. Hope to find a purpose for them or find them away.

Made a set of custom decals for my kids projects. Found ourselves making and adding decals to all kinds of stuff. Model cars, hockey sticks, anything with a nice smooth surface. Easy to print and transfer. NOTE: the paper is very sturdy and sharp! It will cut you if you’re not careful while loading your printer. I had a paper jamb, wasn’t the papers fault, I had my output tray blocked, and while pulling on the paper, I sliced myself pretty good. It’s heavy duty, transfers well, and prints nice! Would buy again m.

And it worked beautifully! It’s not exactly sepia, sort of rusty, but it does what I want! I’m not Brent either. lol!

This is so bad. I mean, literally everything that could be wrong with this is wrong. 1) Not really an issue, but the paper is oddly shaped, so you have to trim it if you wanted it to fit in your printer. 2) random blotches of no ink all over. My printer is a laser jet, yet it looks awful once printed out 3) ink just slides off. When you try to cut the picture, random spots of ink on the paper just slide off like magic 4) does not even float in the water. Once put in water, it instantly sinks to the bottom and your decal is ruined. 5) Hard to get decal off base. when you try to pull the decal off, it usually tears or wrinkles due to the fact that it will not really slide off. 6) adhesion is awful. When I finally got the decal off, it was as dry as paper, even after it "dried" you could easily take it off. I wish I could say something about how it actually turned out, but I can't, since it is actually impossible to get there. And I know what I am talking about as well. I have been using waterslide decals for a while, so I know if a brand sucks or not. It absolutely dumbfounds me how this company even got the right to sell on Amazon...

I bought this back in January and i'm just now getting around to using it.. Wish i would of been brave enough sooner, this is a game changer! I printed on my laser printer, sealed it.. yes, i sealed it though others said i didn't need to, but i did it anyway. Turned out fine. let it dry for about 6 hours. Then i soaked it, and then slide it right where i needed it to be. Fast and perfect. Christmas tumblers just went to a whole new level this year!!!!!!!

This is the greatest waterslide paper I've ever used. The prints on it look crystal clear and simply amazing. It's quite durable, the glue is strong and it's very easy to apply. It can be sprayed with acrylic or synthetic resin clear coat to protect it from moisture and scratches and the paints don't dissolve the foil and it looks just great.

FACCIAMO CHIAREZZA!!!!!! Ho letto tante recensioni strane, chi si lamenta perchè si stacca, chi perchè è delicata, etc. Ho utilizzato questi fogli con una laserjet 1080 di almeno 10 anni fa, la qualità di stampa DIPENDE DALLA STAMPANTE. Stampante buona == Stampa buona Inoltre, è anche findamentale il formato del file, stampare da jpeg fa male all'anima. Vanno preferibilmente utilizzati formati vettoriali fatti con software appositi (i.e., Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw). Con un vettoriale non si sgrana e la stampa è pulita. IMPORTANTISSIMO non pensate di stampare, mettere in acquaz incollare dove serve, e il gioco è fatto: si staccherà dopo poco e il colore non reggerà. Va obbligatoriamente utilizzata una finitura: - bomboletta spray trasparente - vari finish/varnish per smalti - lacquer per modellismo quello che vi pare, ma la decal va messo sotto trasparente altrimenti si stacca e/o viene via il colore della stampa. Nelle immagini un foglio realizzato con hp laserjet 1080, file vettoriale Adobe Illustrator e finish con bomboletta trasparente lucido 1k (bricofer/ferramenta). Applicazione su manici chitarra. Nella prima foto un manico non ancora sovraverniciato (si vedono pure i bordi), nella seconda foto utilizzato spray trasparente lucido. Il risultato, se sai cosa fare e come farlo, è uno spettacolo. ps. la decal si stacca dal supporto dopo pochi secondi in acqua fredda.

I have tried several waterslide decal papers and although this product is more expensive, I found it to be the best for my needs. The colour does not come off.
