Beautiful Venus fly trap
I was worried about ordering a plant on line and having it shipped to me. But this trap came beautifully wrapped and in great condition. I paid for 2-day shipping and it seemed to work just fine. I am new to growing Venus fly traps. I recently rescued 2 other ones from a Meijer. ( The 3rd picture are my rescues). They were in pretty bad shape. But they are doing pretty well now. I wanted to purchase one from someone that actually grows and cares for them just in case my rescues don't make it. There is no one that is local where I live that grows Venus fly traps. I am so happy and impressed this plant looks amazing. I live in Ohio so the weather sucks at the moment. So I am growing them inside underneath grow lights. But when it starts to get warm outside I will place them outside. I definitely recommend ordering from this seller. I will probably order another one sometime in the future. I am obsessed with these plants at the moment. I ordered another healthy one from someone else but it's taking forever to get here. I wish I would of dug around more on Amazon or I would have ordered from the seller first. Thank you so much for sending a great plant.Bought another plant. Beautiful. I actually was sent 2. Very happy with purchase. Can't wait to take all my plants outside. Of the weather would ever get any better. I planted all my red dragons together now. Looks amazing 😍I also have other Venus fly traps that I'm growing. I posted pictures of them as well. This is a really fun hobby. Can't wait to put them outside so they can catch sum bugs.

bad plants from the start
Been bit over 2 weeks since i plants, got two plants in the packagae neither one looked all that healthy on opening the package, No instructions with plants, ive had venus fly traps for years so not new to them and have grown venus fly traps - sundews - Nepenthes for various typos of carnivorous plants, potted them up as per his online video, both plants dead- as a door nail now never perkedup or showed signs of being a healthy plant roots tips at planting did not show a nice bright tip as they should that indicates a healthy growing tip to roots. total waste of $36.55 with the shipping

They came in a little rough
Yes arrival was rough HOWEVER some light and water and some plant gel after a few traps open (not hard to find should be paired somewhere on the page as common add on) they blow up and take off, be sure to follow instructions. They do say not to plant in soil but I think eventually roots will out grow the small cups. At a minimum see the roots through the small cup before upgrade.I would not plant in anything not flytrap soil (do your research on soil, I will be using self watering system with the string eventually) But until it looks strong and healthy with big open traps it will stay in water. Probably keep that way for a month before using loose proper soil (peat moss, sand, perlite blends). I feed one trap a day and plant is growing fast.My research says roots 4-6 inches are ready to plant, I would still advise waiting for a strong plant as their roots are mostly the heads, not the roots. The soil has almost nothing to do with growing past water/ moisture absorption. (Any fertilizer burns them)They get 5 stars here most of all for customers service and timely responses. Top of the line seller communication.I had a cold snap climate from summer in window so I used grow lights on 12 hour timer in a warmer spot And mine are doing great.Use a large plastic tub or glass container with distilled water and set them in it, worked well for me to do multiple orders of them. Just remember the roots HATE nutrition so plastics and glass only! Hard mineral pots deadly. Most this information is sent with plants as well. Also research dormancy conditions as internet is full of people throwing them away. You have to think this plant lives off bugs, bugs disappear in winter, why would the plant waste time growing or maintaining traps. Research advised a 1-2 month dormancy minimum annual. I find it easier to do myself inside then using outside as our winter and summer where I live is very in twined during souring and fall. And I don’t want to shock the plant in and out of dormancy. Not a gift at all, you have to want these plants, they are inside out and random gift would be stupid. These plants are a crime against nature, almost anything common plants would need will kill it. They thrive opposite and require special food do not gift.

Most arrived broken
Most of the traps were broken when it arrived. Some had started to turn black. I have one flytrap on one of the two plants that survived. Very dissapointed with the plants.

Happy with my order
I bought two, one for me and one for a friend, each consisting of two plants. In my package, one plant is showing signs of distress: two traps turning black, a small trap and another trap that is not closing for live food. Unfortunately, the entire plant is now deteriorating. The second plant is doing ok.Im not a great plant parent and I didn’t follow directions perfectly. I have attached a photo of my plants after arrival and in its current condition.I appreciate the thorough instructions and materials for the plants that the seller included. Only giving it 4 stars because one of my plants was in rough condition upon arrival.
