This lamp is very easy to set up. It uses a USB cable, so you can attach it via a laptop, etc. instead of having to use a plug adaptor, if that's what suits you better.There's a power switch at the back, and then the big button on the base, which acts as a switch as well as changing the setting. There are three light colour-temperature settings (which you can see in the three pictures); even the more warm yellow light gives good light for reading. (Obviously, the light colour you see in the photos will depend on your monitor settings, but maybe it will give you an idea of the differences.)The join between the upright and the bar of light is hinged so it's easy to adjust the angle of the light. I find this helpful in the evening when I want less intense focus.There's a flap on the base which is meant for holding a phone; I don't use this function but I suppose if you are short on space this could be a useful addition. The flap itself is quite floppy and whilst this doesn't make any difference to how it works, it is not in keeping with the quality of the rest of the lamp.Overall this lamp offers good value and is a convenient, sturdy little desk lamp.

Just plug it in and it works. Nice with 3 levels of brightness and good that it is touch sensitive rather than a switch. Not bright enough to illuminate the ballroom at the Ritz but fine as a little bedside light and easy to control.

I bought my son a similar desk lamp which also foldable and potable plus the same color.That one is a bit too light with a rather small base therefore could not stand stably enough.I'm very pleased with this new lamp as it came with all the features the original one has and a very stable base.The 3 different light choices are also a very good design to adapt to different lighting needs.Additionally, the switch lock mechanism is also great to prevent accidental trigger when on the move.It's overall a great choice. Highly recommend!

Ljust what I wanted for my iPad , the lamp is situated on my bedside table good for putting my iPad to bed, would recommend never had such a good lamp .I would give it ten stars.

The charging micro USB bit broke within a month of light use, now that I can't charge it, it's useless money down the drain.

Brilliant little light but mine must be faulty as it dims itself or just turns off by its self quite often

The light worked well for the first couple of weeks, but after then, the charger hole on the light, for the cable to connect and charge, broke off and fell into the light stand. So I am no unable to charge my light at all and its now useless.Very badly made. Ive had for 3 weeks now, and its not been moved around or badly handled and this happened.

Great little lamp and easy to use. Has different brightness settings. Excellent for nighttime reading with the eye care setting.
