Probably NOT what you are looking for
I gave this a 5 * rating because I hate reviews that give 1* for BUYER'S MISTAKE.This cable is wired EXACTLY like the diagram shown in pictures, which unfortunately is NOT a standard Type A or Type B MIDI cable. I don't know what device uses this layout because google failed to produce any answers.So cable is good, just NOT useful to me. lol

Not MIDI
It is a TRS to 5-pin DIN cable. It matches the pinout shown, but the pinout does not match the TRS MIDI A or B specification, so it will not work MIDI with devices.

Doesn't work for me
I did not work with my Novation, Modal or Arturia hardware synths, it does not meet Korg type specifications for Midi cables, might be OK for Euro Modules, but buyer beware! this won't work for most name brand synths.I waited to long to try this out, so now I have to eat the cost of the cable.

doesn't work for midi instruments
This cable is not a midi cable. It doesn't send data from multiple midi instruments that were tried.
