This hat is beautiful. Soft brown leather. EXTREMELY comfortable. The distressed look is much better than ordinary single colour cowboy hats. I never thought I’d wear it much. It was more a “want” rather than “need” purchase. But I’m so glad I did it. I’ve bought several hats: some high quality tweed flat caps, some expensive wool felt pork pies, and this leather cowboy hat. I have to say this is the most comfy on the head. I haven’t tested it in the rain yet but based on other reviews, I believe it will hold up well. I wear it round the house for now. To look cool in front of the cat. But one thing I found useful was that if I leaned back to rest my head on the couch, the brim would easily fold down and I could rest quite comfortably. Then when I moved my head back off the couch, the brim would easily revert back to place. Very handy to have a large brim which doesn’t get in the way.Recommend!EDIT: wanted to like the hat but 1-2 weeks of only in-house use and the glue holding the leather band has given way. Wilds? Couldn’t even handle the trips from my bedroom to my lounge. The hat search continues....sigh.

I'm super-fussy about hats as they give a headache or itch annoyingly if they don't fit. This is great, you won't even know you're wearing it if you get the correct size. I found it perfect to the size chart (M). It's quite a soft leather, about half way between the feel of a calf-leather wallet and a dress belt - not at all like previous adventure hats I've bought in America which had very rough and thick cow leather. The look is a bit 'cowboy', but nobody has shouted at me on the street yet! Perfect for what I needed - a sun / light rain hat for outdoor camping and so forth. Comes with an easily removable strap which is good as it tickles the back of your neck.

The hat looks great on my son, however I bought two of these hats in Australia last year, and the Australian ones are definitely better quality.That aside it looks good, and has a useful chin strap. The size is per the measurement, so if you are in between sizes, I would go larger as the sizing is not generous.I can't comment on durability as my son has only worn it once so far, on a warm sunny day.All in all, its a good hat that does the job of giving your face bit of shade on a sunny day.

Absolutely love this hat. Fits perfectly but equally could easily stretch if i needed it to. The leather is light and flexible and the hat can be crushed and folded without any dire consequences! Perfect for keeping the sun off my face when I'm hiking or simply relaxing at the campsite, I love that it's so functional and stylish at the same time. Best purchase I've made in a while, and I know this hat is going to go on some wild adventures with me for years to come! Highly recommend :)

An absolutely amazing quality hat made of real leather. I would really highly recommend this to anybody looking for a good quality leather cowboy hat at a reasonable price. The only issue I have is that I felt the Large would have been slightly bigger. It’s certainly not too small but if I was to purchase again I’d probably choose XL.

Really happy fits as expected ibwent down a size still fits but will soon stretch that few mm .. well made looks weathered which I like allot . My wife loves it too guess I need another one , customer service was great and on the ball when I had a few questions . Overall very happy with all aspects . Delivered to Cyprus at a cheap rate and before schedule .. what more can I say .. I’m a happy man ..

Of the wide range of Aussie style hats, I chose this one and I am glad I did. It fits perfectly, and retains it's shape very well. I gave it a treatment of Walker and Hawkes - Waterproofer and Conditioner Spray for Leather Hats before wearing it, and am glad that I did, as it poured down yesterday.

I loved this hat when it arrived and carefully treated it with leather care. After a two week holiday with limited ware the leather discoloured quite a lot then the band fell off. I have re treated the leather and can live without the band but it’s not the high quality I expected
