Great product, Excellent Picture Output!
I bought this as my home has an existing coax cable system. I did not use it since we use internet tv. I decided to use the old coax system for my security camera system. I use the HDMI output of my NVR into the Thor Modulator and output that into a splitter. Every tv in the house now has the ability to watch the cameras. The picture quality that is output is very clear almost as if my HDMI cord is plugged into that tv. There is a slight delay between video output and the tv but it is very minimal! The ethernet port and web configuration is very nice. I don't use it much but its always nice to have he ability to change settings remotely without going into my network cabinet. All in all it seems sturdy externally and from several reviews I decided to get this and I have not been let down!

Excellent performer
This has performed very well. Got it to replace a PVI VeCOAX MiniMod2 when I couldn't stand the audio distortion any more. Side benefit, this seems to have better picture quality than the PVI even at its highest quality setting. Considering replacing my other MiniMod2 (but these things are expensive).Setup is not as hard as some report once you figure out how to connect it to your PC or network. Once connected setup was easy and clear, and quite flexible.

Easy to setup and works well for the cost.
Assuming you have a HDMI feed with good high def quality, this modulator works very well and provides good to excellent picture quality. It is frequency agile, and you can choose between 8-VSB (ATSC) and QAM modulation schemes. You can easily set most parameters from the front panel, or can use the Ethernet port and a laptop to fully customize the signal. The only reason I haven't given it a 5 star rating is that I had hoped for a latency value (time delay between the original HDMI feed and modulated/demodulated RF signal) of around 100 msec; however latency on this unit is right at 600 msec. For the cost, however, this is a very good value and is recommended.

Works as expected!
Not much to complain about! I’ve only have to reboot this device once in the almost 2 years of having it!

Perfect Roku on all the TV’s in my Motorhome at the same time.
I was able to upgrade all my TV’s to smart TV’s in my motorhome at the same time using this device and the picture quality is as good as it gets with very little latency. At first glance it seems expensive but in my situation it will save me money. I am building a new house and I will be incorporating more than one of these in my AV area.Easy to setup when using a PC.

Does what it says it will
Works great. Using it to broadcast my security cameras to tvs in the house over coax.Setup was super simple. Basically plugged in the hdmi cable from my NVR and the cable source and outflow it worked. Very expensive is my only complaint.

So far so good
For a few years I have been using a ZeeVee but it failed and I was reticent to buy another one considering the cost and the fact that it only lasted less than three years. For a while we did without, and some of our TVs couldn’t receive the satellite signal we were transmitting throughout the entire house with the ZeeVee.After seeing reviews of this product I figured I would give it a try because it’s maybe 35% the cost of the ZeeVee. So far so good.Being able to use the controls in the front to set the channel makes it pretty easy. It doesn’t have a fancy display like the ZeeVee and can’t broadcast a second “welcome screen” channel like mire expensive products, but for home use, who cares?I haven’t been able to use the web interface yet because I haven’t figured out how to get to the IP address to work but I haven’t really tried very hard. Once I do I will see what settings are available. The manual is very sparse. So far the picture has been rock solid and the sound has been good and I haven’t had any problems with the signal dropping or freezing and haven’t had to reset been reset. Hopefully this product will last as long as the ZeeVee did or even longer. Considering it’s on 24/7 I know that overheating could be a problem with some of these products (and I suspect that’s why the ZeeVee would occasionally freeze) so hopefully the internal components are strong enough to take the constant strain over time. The delay is about a second, similar to the ZeeVee, compared to direct HDMI output.

Worked great
This worked plug and play right out of the box to modulator a channel. All my digital TVs found it and I had no problems with this device. still going after a few months.
