DJI Smart Controller Screen Guard with Neck Strap

I didn't buy it for the plastic screen cover thingy.Which is a good thing because its a bad design. It you put the screen guard in the half way up (blocking sun) position its in the way of your thumbs on the controller sticks. And my thumbs are not big.But I love the strap. The threaded part that screws in is about half as long as it could be but it works fine.I put some thread locker on it for just in case.I like the way the connectors are small and fold up. If you don't have a lot of room in your bag like me they are the best I have seen. The strap is very soft and flexible and not thick. It feels like silk or satin. I wanted something that would fold up into a small space. This is perfect. And feels good on a bare neck. If your wearing a tshirt. I have sent 2 other straps back because they are way to bulky.I hold the smart controller in my hands. The strap is only for safety and convenience of being able to let go and use my hands for a second. I really don't need a super heavy duty strap that can hold like a 100 pounds.And I found If I connect anything with much metal to the bottom of the SC it can have an effect on the controllers compass.

While the description is accurate, the product itself is less than fantastic in my opinion.It is not quite worth the $25 USD based on the quality of the materials and I have returned it.For about $8 USD it would much better.

Honestly the only reason I got this was the low profile screws with the foldable d ring. I can now put the SC in the dji fly more bag or the regular case with SC cut out without having to remove the screws. The screws themselves are solid metal and I don’t see anyway they can actually get better.The rest of the combo is not impressive. The screen cover has no reason to even exist in my opinion and the lanyard is just a regualr synthetic material you can get 10 for a dollar or so on amazon. So overall the product is really overpriced, if it hasn’t been for the unconventional thread size of the screws you would probably be able to make your own carrying system for less than 2 dollars if this was the regular ¼” thread. And then throw is any old lanyard you have (I’m using an elastic DSLR neck strap for comfort so honestly the screws are the only thing Im using here.

The rings need to be spread out a little bit farther because if you want to put down any type of cover it won’t fit with this onThrew it back in the box and that’s it

came with lanyard and cover for controller but not metal rings to hook it from bottom? Trash honestly.....

It’s real cheep feeling and doesn’t work good

The little shade helps keep the sun out so he can see when using his drone on particularly sunny days.
