Received this very quickly from Amazon, however, that's the end of the good. As soon as I took the camera box out of the Amazon box I noticed it was unsealed. Took the camera out of its own box and the first thing you see is the scrapes & scuffs on the plastic covering the IR led region. Not a good start. The rest of the camera appeared ok visually.Read the Chinglish instructions, and put batteries & memory card in, switched on, and there should be a light flash to acknowledge. Nothing. Tried again - nothing. Camera does absolutely nothing.With it being scuffed & not working, I suspect this may already be a former return, which has just been sent straight back out again. Very poor service from all concerned.Received & returned back to Amazon on the same day. Total waste of time.

For this price, the camera is good value. It takes good pictures - colour in day time and B&W at night, for the price it is good value. It takes a video and a photo of each event and runs continuously unless the internal on/off switch is required.Setting the date and time can only be done by changing a text file on the SD card - as far as I know, therefore it is awkard.It is possible to misfit the SD card - if you put it in at an angle it does not go in the slot and falls into the box. So care is needed.You can get about 10 days of video/photos on a 32 GB card.It is an inexpensive choice or a surveillance camera or a cheap option for wildlife photography.It comes with a strap or there is screw slot at the back for a standard camera stand.If you want something programmable with an easy user interface then you will probably need to pay twice the price

Poorly built.Micro SD card slot is far enough away from the socket for a card to slip past the socket and get lost to rattle around inside the box.The date/time is not maintained internally, the .txt file on the memory card is not a valid file and is not editable.The videos saved as .avi format are not compatible with Mac.Requires 18650 batteries, not AA.Response time too slow.

Having read some of the reviews, I was expecting to have to buy odd batteries and possibly having a damaged product; but no; the camera arrived quickly in perfect condition and it takes normal AA batteries.Yes - it is built to a price, but is easy to set up and works well. The description did say "upgraded" so perhaps this is the reason why some of the other reviews do not seem to reflect this model?I have not tried it in rain or cold conditions yet so will wait to see how it copes with that.

Description wrong3mp camera not 5mpTrigger time described as 0.5 secsactually 0.8. Might seem trivial but not when comes to wildlife.The disparagy between 3mp and 5mp not acceptable.Why cant they be honest?Wouldn't have bought it if they had been.Still selling by misleading.

It is not clear in the product information you will need to purchase 4 x18650 batteries and a charger on line at another expense. Also the product information does not make it clear that this camera will NOT continuously record the animals, it’s a short 30 second record, we were very disappointed as wanted to see if we had hedgehogs and be able to watch them feeding and visiting our hedgehog house. The camera activated by the animal movement but then stopped recording after 30 seconds and doesn’t activate again immediately, it’s not easy to see the video footage either.The seller did however offer a part refund of £5 which we declined and suggested £18 which they accepted. The seller tried to be helpful and promptly refunded once we reached a settlement agreement.

Prosgood valueaverage qualityvideo clips are okConsOnly 10 video clips max 40 seconds each.So I used twice now and after few birds flew past all 10 clips used up in 1 hour.Only 1 gig used of 32 gig card and not much battery used so not sure why limit to 10 clips when space for 300 clips.So if lot of activity disappointing - was hoping for all night footage :(

A cheap camera and you get what you pay for. Pic quality not bad although on video mode it often stutters and skips. Shutter speed feels even slower than advertised 0.3s and detection angle falls short of the advertised 120 degrees.
