I actually returned these they are really pretty and arrived excellent condition but they do not work I soaked my plants made a hole added the globe and I had to fill it up 4 times in one day and the plants were so wet it was coming out the bottom and they were still draining.

I love these! There are only a few plants I need to self water and they work great for those plants.1. These are NOT hard to fill up (like some of the other reviews say). Just use a smaller stream of water from your faucet so it goes right into the hole and they fill up in a few seconds.2. Lightweight and small. They are barely noticeable in the pot, and not weighty enough to tip it.3. They do not empty fast (like some of the other reviews say). I think this probably depends on the dryness of your soil, and if you put it straight down or on a slant. If it empty’s fast, readjust and see if that works, otherwise it might be the mechanics of your particular globe and you may need to return them so you don’t drown your plants... mine do not drain fast.

They were smaller than I thought they would be BUT exactly the size I needed. They are packaged well enough that you do not have to worry about them arriving broken. And they are very sturdy feeling glass not thin flimsy glass. I'm sure they are fragile because their glass and by Nature glass can be broken but these are nice and thick, very impressed.

I was skeptical at first as to how effective these automatic watering globe devices would work. However, they worked very well keeping the soil and plants well hydrated in my absence. They are extremely easy to use and attractive. I would look for a much smaller version for smaller plants. These are great for well established, mature plants.

It’s a pretty simple product, so at long as you don’t break it, it does what it should! :) This worked well in my medium sized pots while I was away on a trip, but I definitely should have put more than one in the large pots

My girlfriend charged me with keeping out love fern alive and I had a series of extended business trips to take, risking dehydration for the little fellow. These were great and I'm still a proud papa.I really only needed one, but it was cheap to get a set of three. Now when our fern has babies we'll be ready.

Was disappointed in this product as the bottom opening is very large and water runs right out. Had to plug with cotton in order to make it drip out gradually. Should have provided a plug that would allow a gradual drip of water.

They are the perfect size for my smaller plants. They are make of glass and work very well. This has eliminated my fungus bars problem.
