Great cheap dash cam
I use this every day at work driving an 18 wheeler around Phoenix Arizona. The picture quality is good enough to protect you if something happens. Hard to read plates but clear enough to see traffic signals and clear color of cars. I have had cheap dash camera's blur the quality of the movies after sitting in the 130 plus degree cab when I am not driving, sitting in the Phoenix sun. This camera seems to stand up well to the heat - I have been using it through most of the summer and have been very happy with the result. I have recommended it to a few people that I work with and they have seconded my opinion. Worth the money for sure.

Safety factor
I bought a kit for my motorcycle, and one for car. My old one on bike gave up the ghost. This one is interchangeable with my connections, but a little difficult to stretch power cord to camera. The suction is good, but I have a curved shield so it is a fine act to connect. Once connected its as if it were glued on. But the take off and put on system is unique. Instead of sticking it to shield and pulling back lever, you stick it to the shield and twist it on. Done right it is a solid fit. The loop times are on you. I set mine for five minute loops. In an event of accident its all on camera now. Nice feeling of safety. Filmed crotch rockets flying by me on one wheel, and throwing sparks on ground. If needed I could show an officer exactly what went down. Well worth it for my piece of mind

The good and the bad
When you buy a product, you expect it to work as promised; alas, that is guaranteed in all cases. Now, this camera works pretty much as promised but there are some things to keep in mind.It has great light sensitivity, however if you have dark environment with spotty sources of light (like strong street lights), picture will get grainy; that is just the nature of automatic adjustment to light and not a malfunction.Starting to record, camera will create files for full length of video segments (5 minutes rotation in my case) thus filling SD card quickly (short rides, motion sensor activated in start-stop drive) which results in much shorter total video content in SD card than anticipated.I have my doubts about native resolution this camera has. It advertises full HD 1080P; however, recorded video does not look that way. Some reviewers rightly noted that you can’t read license plate of the vehicle in front of you unless you get really close; that is true and might have been caused by native resolution being really lower. In real world, camera lens has something to do with that, too. Very wide angle on this camera impacts visibility and creates picture in perspective different than our eye (deforms the picture) which some reviewers complained about, too. Yet, wide angle captures situation and development in traffic ahead of you much better. Finally, on video and resolution, standard video players in Windows don’t play high resolution videos of this camera (videos in resolution 720 play just fine) – VLC player (free download) handles these. Checking video details shows that resolution of the video is 1088 lines (?) and that is explanation for this annoyance, but also indicates that native resolution is not 1080P. I didn’t make up my mind and didn’t finish all testing and simulation, but using lower resolution of 720 may have same level of detail in video and would result in better use of memory resources.Bottom line: inexpensive camera, easy to set, and decent performance. These cameras are intended to capture incident situations on the road. Can this camera be 100% reliable in all situations and resolve possible disputes? I have my reservations, but it does not cost me arm and the leg.

ssontong Dash Camera review.
I received this dash camera as a birthday present, model number A9. It is small, lightweight with great picture quality during the day or with street lights. It has night vision capability but it is more like it can record at night with the aid of street lights or if things are illuminated. I do not do much driving at night so this is not something I considered as a deal breaker. It comes with a easy to read user manual, a small lens cloth, a plastic tool (to help remove a micro SD card perhaps?), a micro SD card to USB adapter, a long 12v power cable, a USB to dash camera cable and a suction cup that really has suction power. If this were to be stolen...I would replace it with the same camera. It is that easy to use and it is small enough that it is out of my field of view while driving. I included a picture of my actual camera with a few of the accessories. You can use the micro SD to USB adapter to get a idea of the actual camera size.

Not bad for the price but.....
I order 2 of the same item. One for the front one for the rear.Daylight picture quality is decent I say under 1080P . Front and rear cameras on a clear day are ok, not clear enough to make up license plates, specially if moving. Night time The front does it job,the rear one did not performed well, Too dark and headlights from vehicles behind you makes the video impossible to see anything. I say for the front ok but definitely not for the rear

Good Little Unit
First off very good price. I also got extra discount from prime day but I already had product in my cart. The cord is long enough to hide wire and plenty of space to install on windshield . The auction is extremely secure, especially once locked in place.I installed at night which was the perfect time to test the night vision aspect. I turned on my head lights as I would be once driving && it was actually quite clear.I recommend charging fully before you use it since the battery isn’t fully charged on arrival. It’s a very user friendly product pretty easy to figure out without reading manual for basic functions. The range of motion itself is actually really good to find the perfect positioning to view everything. I like that the plug for it comes with a car charger that still allows for regular function.Overall very happy with my purchase. Good little unit && well worth the money.
