It also does duty as a digital tuner for older analog TVs, grabbing the new signals without forcing you to pay for a new TV. Docking any iPod in the top of the AVi will merge the two systems into one! The small video on your iPod will now play on the large, vivid screen of the AVi, while the sound from the AVi's speakers fills the room. Your iPod will automatically recharge when docked into the AVi. The AVi also works as a clock and alarm clock, letting you wake up to your favorite iPod tunes or up to 20 radio & TV stations. OK for ipod and radio but not tv
The TV is almost useless since you can't even hook up a portable dvd player either. With the hook ups in the back I thought this would be the perfect item for a weekend away scrapbooking, but the ipod and radio was all I could have so the TV was useless since I couldn't play my dvds and the antenna didn't so anything for me. My 2 cents.

Chinon portable tv
I was quite surprised with the quality of this product. I was looking for a portable TV but had difficulty with finding one with regular replaceable batteries. This one takes 8 size C batteries so I get long battery use. The picture quality is excellent with the antenna it comes with and the Ipod feature is terrific. If you have a long term power outage, this is a great buy!

I love it.
I purchased two, I love it...picture. clarity two thumbs up. Keep it at my work desk, plays daily and it's a good conversational item for customers entering.

Get what you pay for -- and Less
When the all-digital TV came to town I had to give up my under-counter kitchen SONY radio with AM as well as FM signal and TV signal. Thought this Chinon would be an improvement because of the iPod dock. How wrong I was. The sound is inferior in all applications. The radio signals are fussy. The TV sound (which is all I care about) is equally mediocre. The picture is distorted but maybe you can adjust it for widescreen mode -- I didn't try. Anyhow, this is another crummy made-in-China piece of electronic junk.

Unless the unit is bad..
It consumes the batteries in 15 minutes. Unless the unit is bad... Other than that, sound and picture are good

How to make it better
This is what i think this product needs no tv tuner no built in screen an hdmi out better speakers fm only tuner it should output hdmi via from the ipod dock if really all you need in this product is a usb power port to charge your phone, an aux cable in and better speakers.
