This floor lamp is so attractive! The birds on the dark ironwork add a touch of whimsy to a functional item. It is a sturdy pole lamp, weighted at the base. The 3-way switch is what we wanted for reading. The shade is simple white, it looks unobtrusive, and lets plenty of light illuminate the reading area. We can easily reach the light switch while sitting in the reading recliner, as it is not the super tall type of floor lamp. Perfect.

I ordered this lamp a few years ago and love it. So, I decided to order another recently for another bedroom. It arrived, and I put it together. However, the top piece with the birds/leaves tilts because the part is loose and cannot tighten. I contacted Kenroy Home, sent photos, and they sent me another lamps. Same problem with the replacement! I’m not going to return the lamp-too cumbersome, but I won’t purchase another Kenroy Home item again.

My husband wanted a lamp with a swivel arm so he can sit in his chair and read in the bedroom and have light on his music when he plays his guitar. It is the perfect size as most floor lamps would be too big for our application. It came VERY well packed and went together in 5 minutes. It is completely brown with no gold brushed on it (as stated in description) which I preferred. I may spray paint it a mat black as it is next to a black Windsor back chair and the headboard in the bedroom is black. You do need to be a little careful with the little bird but once it's all put together it won't be getting any rough wear. The shade is definitely a light oatmeal color not white! I am very pleased with the lamp for the money we paid. I would recommend.

Just as pictured. Looks great in our Family Room. We put it in between our 2 chairs and is perfect if only one of us needs the light (just swing it so it is over that chair). If we both need it, we just keep the light in the center. If I have any complaint (and it really isn't a complaint) is that is did not come with a cute finial - to match the lamp. I am looking for a replacement now. Will probably also replace the lampshade in the future, but that will be easy to do with the type lampshade it comes with. Overall very happy.

I was hesitant to purchase a floor lamp that had to be connected in 3 places and my worries were realized with this purchase. I was desperate though and hoped that spending over 100.00 for a lamp would result in a well made product. Impossible to get the pole screwed together so that it isn't leaning. Actually, I could but then the two ends didn't meet because I couldn't get it screwed in flush and had a large gap of silver thread exposed. Believe me, I worked in this a long time!!!!

This lamp is as described. I like that it is a little shorter for a floor lamp so that I can put it behind my end table and have the surface of the table free but still have light for crafting. My only complaint is that I have to stand up to turn it on and off, as I was used to being able to reach the knob on my other table lamp. Also, the switch is on the side rather than the front so you can only reach it from the one side. A small complaint. I am happy with the lamp and like the shade as well.

swing arm lamp is mostly very good..however, when placed on a soft rug, it leans over a little, which is to be expected. its still solid enough to use as is, and is very functional for its intended purpose. i recommend this lamp to buy for a shopper looking for unique swing arm lamp.

very nice quality - bird and leaves are 3 finished on all sides; Put together very easily and is sturdy and straight unlike many floor lamps. Swing arm makes it easy to put by a bed and move as needed to get in and read or to hop out of bed quickly. Love the way the room looks - not too rustic, but accentuating nature. Shipped fast.
