CLAC Deo Gel Fly Repellent

This product was introduced to me years ago by an old horse woman. I use it in addition to other fly treatment. I like the Deo Gel because it is instant relief and so easy to use on the face and ears - especially for my donkey's ears. I have not done a side by side study of how long my other fly spray lasts vs how long the Deo Gel lasts. As horse folks know, none of the fly sprays/wipes last long enough!

Pleasant smell. Easy to apply. Seems to work as well as any other and has no chemicals.

Much thicker than last year. Leaves a film which when dry, hangs off. Harder to spread. Not too sure will continue to use.

This product was recommended by the tack shop. I used it and it didn't do a thing for keeping theflies away from my horse. As a matter of fact, the flies landed on the layer and seemed to enjoy it.No, I would not recommend this product to anyone. I actually threw it away--just like throwing $25.00down the drain. Ugh...

Very gooey to use but it truly soothes existing bites & repels insects for up to 10 hours

Seems to work very well. Must apply every day. Does not irritate sensitive skin. I only use it for the groin, chest and armpit areas.

This is a really great product. It's made with essential oils and a little goes a long way. Very effective at repelling insects, especially the incredibly annoying midges we have around here. Anywhere I applied it stayed fly free for the better part of the day on horses who were out on pasture all day.

It doesn't repel flies. Literally as I'm applying it, flies are landing on the horse in the same area. It smells wonderful though!
