We adore this dress. My daughter (7) flipped out when I took it out of the bag. She put it on, and she's swimming in it. Swimming. We're having to take it in 3 inches. So, the reviews that warn to buy smaller, BUY SMALLER. I could have gotten her a 4. I got her the 6, which is actually tagged as a 6/7. But, it is made well, and it is just gorgeous.

This was perfect for my daughters first communion. It was beautiful. We did need to alter it, but only to take off some length. Make sure you use the size guide at the bottom of the page and NOT the standard Amazon size guide. We got a size 4 for my 7 year old and it fit with some length to spare. So don't go by the regular sizing, but by this company's special size guide.

My ten-year-old kept expressing how she felt like a princess! Dress is very beautiful. The torso area of the dress is big for her slim frame, so we had to have it altered. Overall, it is a very pretty dress!

The fit was spot on with the measurements chart. It is very long and will need hemming. The size 12 is 50" shoulder to hem. My daughter is quite short, and the bodice lining/slip hung down too far in the front. The bodice lace is soft so it seems it might keep stretching lower. I cut the ribbon (actually satin-like fabric) from the waist. It was only tacked on with small stitches front and sides and the bow is a separate piece and tacked on to it. The waist ribbon is sewn into seams at the zipper, but it was easily trimmed with little scissors. I'll use the waistband (cut in half lengthwise is perfect) to sew two straps to the bodice lining to hold it up. Yes, they will show through the lace, but the dress lining will stay in place with no worries. Great buy. Worth the little adjustments!

This dress is adorable and everything we wanted. I went to iron it for my daughters pictures and noticed it had this weird dirtOn it. My daughter is 7 so I assumed she had gotten it dirty when she initially tried it on. I took it to the dry cleaner to clean it. They told me they didn’t think it was dirt but it looked like mold that had been sitting on the dress. I hoped we had just gotten it dirty and I was already there so I told them to clean it. They told me if it was mold it wouldn’t come out. I just picked it up from the dry cleaners and sure enough MOLD!!! This dress is adorable but you might want to buy it from another seller this one isn’t storing their dresses in a safe dry place. Bummer.

We used this for a communion dress and it was beautiful. Like others, we sized down to a size 6 though she is 8yo. It fit her just right but slightly snug in the chest. She is average height and weight for her age group. It does come off as having a purple hue in my opinion but the replacement I ordered did as well, so I believe it’s just the fabric. Still looked white with all the other whites in church, so all was well.

This dress was nice for what we needed it for but as she wore it more, the sleeve holes were uncomfortable. They are small and pinched. Had to reinforce the bodice area also. She looked nice in it and liked wearing it. If the sleeve area had been done truer to size, it would have been much better.
