They work good for fluffing your clothes. But they don't take away any dry time and I think if you use them all the time they would do more damage to your clothing then good it's like tumbling rocks. If you want a load of clothes to dry faster throw in a dry bath towel it will cut your dry time significantly.

They are loud when they hit the dryer drum!

Used the dryer balls for several days and all static is gone from the dried clothes. They do make some noise but not objectable. Have not used fabric softer since using the balls. Just leave the balls in the dryer.

I love these and bought a few more for friends. I did find some at Bed Bath And Beyond that were considerably cheaper. I wonder if there is a difference. These work great. Fast service too.
