A&W Diet Cream Soda, 12 Ounce (12 Cans) (4 Pack)

I have to admit that I was surprised how closely this taste to the regular version of root beer. It doesn’t taste flat at all but SOMETHING is missing!! Whether it’s the calories or the sugar but there is a slight distinction, but it didn’t stop me from enjoying my root beer float! Even my Mama tasted it and said it wasn’t bad, which says a lot coming from her! LOL

There once were A&W shops all over Southern California and a few in the San Jose area but I haven’t seen any in years. Nothing was more refreshing on a hot day than popping into an A&W for a freshly made root beer float.! For me A&W is the root beer all others are judged by. I have no idea what goes into making this soda but the flavors are well balanced with no bitterness and it is not too sweet. Admittedly, there are some brands that are pretty darn good (IBC anyone?), but I always go back to A&W especially since they brought out the Zero Sugar type.A quick note to the executives at A&W: why is your Cream Soda so elusive? Ii’s great enjoyed straight, but also makes a fantastic ice cream soda, comparable to those served at the Woolworth Five & Dime lunch counters years ago. Please make it more widely available.!

My friend couldn't believe it was diet. It tastes like the real thing but without the gross corn syrup sick feeling. Will buy again!

Love Root beer, but this is a bit too expensive.

Ah, A & W sodas have been one of my favorites in the soda world. However, these days, every soda company and non soda have moved onto the No Zero Sugar train. Which is better and necessary for a whole lot of folks. Zero Sugar sodas is different from Diet sodas. as far as I am to understand the complexity of the beverages. lets face it, we all hated Tab and other diet sodas out there for whatever reason, mine was the taste and aftertaste. As for tthe choice of healthy or not, the jury is still out on this one too. The Zero Sugar sodas do not seem to affect certain individuals with dieatbics two. One should consult with their psychian(s) before going on a Zero Sugar soda trend.

This is the best tasting diet soda there is. I wish it were a little less expensive but I wish that about everything hahaha. I was never a huge root beer fan but I honestly love this soda.

The taste of this soda is really good. I am diabetic and am so grateful that I found this.
