The RMS rating
The RMS rating Is only 400 W meaning they can only push 400 W continuously and feel good about it if you push anything more you’re risking blowing it I’ve seen a lot of the reviews on here and I’m sure half of you don’t even know what the RMS means it means continuous power..Just because it says it can do 14 or 1500 doesn’t mean you should push that much power to it always look at the RMS output...I’ve had mine for over a year and a half I also have a couple other 12s that are not pioneer but still entered a competition this past Sunday and came in third place this pioneer 12 is great!

Glitter everywhere
Pioneer sprays RAINBOW COLORED GLITTER all over these subwoofers. Its not the only model subwoofer Pioneer sells with glitter bombs in it. Wipes off semi easy but it is messy. Subwoofer does function well.

Solid value for bass
It seems tame, but after a month it holds up well, I blew up a single 12 inch Fosgate punch within a month, but this cheaper speaker actually is holding up better. I have a 600 watt amp pushing it and am very happy with it. And price is less than half of what I paid for the Fosgate 12...update, 3 months 2 weeks later the speaker blew under that 600 watt amp. Maybe I push it too much

Great price, one day delivery and a woofer that rocks. I decided not to go for some exotic, "high end", expensive subwoofer and I didn't regret that decision. You can't go wrong with Pioneer. I was looking for 800 wats rms subwoofer with double 4 ohm voice coils. After days of research, I decided to buy two of these. My reasoning - both of them cost half of the price of cheapest decent double voice coil 4ohm subwoofer and you get double the cone area and two independent woofers. The only minus is space, which I have enough since I switched my hatch privacy screen with MDF plate which hold all of my rear speakers, including subwoofer, with trunk as a box. So, I bought one for test and, after instaling it decided that I don't need another one. I have bass I was looking for and 400 wats RMS left in my amplifier to play with.

Ich habe den Subwoofer in ein Atlas Bandpass Gehäuse verbaut…in Kombination mit einer Emphaser Mt1 gain auf 11 Uhr Bass boost 0db lowpass 50hz knallt der woofer bei Lautstärke 25-28 ordentlich rein… guter Preis guter woofer
