It Okie. Daytime works fine. Even using the sun energy during cloudy days. The view is limited because of the angle. It doesn't have night vision. I don't see much in the dark.Edit: I have to refund this item due to its inability to function properly in a cold climate. It takes too long for the signal to be sent. It takes too much time for the camera and the screen to connect. So that was kinda disappointing.

Bought 2 of them!
Very good purchase. I can see at night through this camera very well because my car shines a light in the back when backing up. Connection is reliable. I even bought a used one of these and it works great. Highly recommend this product!

Failed to work in a little over a month.
This backup camera system quit working after about a month. The monitor works, but will not connect with the camera. I charged the battery in the camera, and tried several times to connect the monitor with the camera....and still all I see on the monitor is the words "connecting". It has a one year warranty, but I have no information in the instruction manual on returning it, or getting a replacement.

Kept having to turn it back on!
It was easy to install BUT, the screen was too small and the picture only stayed on 30 seconds at a time. Every 30 seconds you have to turn it back on! It takes me longer than 30 seconds to back up....
