Repashy Crested Gecko Diet 1lb Bag (16 oz)

I can't believe the effort that was put in, to pack this product. They actually used two cardboard style envelopes to ship this product. Making it so that if one was scuffed up or torn the other would still protect the cargo. On top of that I paid for standard shipping and still got it in 2 days from the night I placed the original order. I love people that take the effort to protect the goods I'm purchasing during shipping. I tend to order everything except food online and man its a sad day when you can say that this small company that I buy my gecko food from takes more pride in their work than many larger companies I've worked for feeding human beings while trying to get through college. Thats not even touching upon that actual products quality which is superb. Oh and as a heads up make sure you don't mix this product so its runny otherwise cresties won't touch it until it starts to harden up and by that time it would mold. Essentially cresties like soft or rotten fruit in the wild but I don't want that kind of crestie diet sinking up my home. Thats why I go with this product its simple and sweet and I don't have to raise crickets and the monitoring of their calcium sacs is now non-existent since switching to this product last year. Ever time I check up on them for weight and so on their well within the healthy range for this species and that gives me more time to enjoy viewing them instead of poking and proding them.

I can really thank this food for even having my wonderful gargoyle gecko, Zombie. There are many kinds of lizards I feel incapable of taking care of, because I worry about them getting the proper nutrients when they have to eat live bugs, and have to be supplemented every so often. With this formula, caring for Zombie is easy, and I have the ease of mind knowing he is getting everything he needs to be healthy, nourished, and happy. I appreciate the easy-to-follow instructions, and the pleasant sweet aroma I smell when stirring in the water. I also appreciate that the sweet scent is not overpowering, I can't even smell it in the living room where Zombie's tank is. I only smell it when I am preparing a fresh batch. :)When I ordered my 1lb bag, it shipped all but immediately and arrived to my mailbox VERY fast. I feel like if I had somehow ran out of food before ordering, my gecko would not be hungry for long, because of the quick delivery time. For how well-rounded the food is, how much I got, and the great shipping, the price I payed was beyond fair, I feel!I also like the foil resealable bag, seems like the optimal way to keep the food fresh, along with refrigerating as suggested on the label. I think the 1lb bag is meant for people with multiple geckos, because this is gonna last Zombie a LONG time! I will definitely order from here again though, and would recommend it to any of my friends.

I have tried a couple of types of crested gecko diets before I found this one. None of them really had my geckos running to eat. However, when I switched to the fruit flavored Repashy, they are totally in love with it. They know when feeding times are throughout the week and even my babies come running when I put it in their cages. I would highly recommend this if you have picky cresties or if you're wanting to try out something new for them.I have also noticed a weight gain in my geckos since switching to Repashy as well, which is great for my babies and juvies. They normally eat every bit of what I put in their cages. I highly recommend Repashy crested gecko diet for any age of crested gecko.

i chose this 5 star rating, because i was surprised to find this product on amazon, and it's very hard to find these products on petstore websites lol. they sell the smaller containers of repashy food, and that kinda stinks though. but this is the website to get this product. i like this product, because it's very good for all fruit eating geckos, including: crested geckos, leachianas, day geckos etc. theres a lot more geckos that are fruit eaters, but i can't remember the other ones lol. i feed this stuff to my female leachiana, and she loves it. try feeding it to your gecko. they will love it.

Both of our local stores have stopped carrying this. So glad for availability on line. Our local stores only ever carried the very small plastic bottle. This will last a lot longer. Geckos don't seem to like the new brand the local store is carrying. This Repashy stuff keeps them happy.

I have used this for years and my gecko loves it he actually comes to the bowl when I place it in his cage he is very healthy and happy

I love that it is cheaper than purchasing the small 5 ounce bottles at the pet store, and then buying more and more weekly. They really love it too! Especially freshly made. I make about 10 ounces in advance to cut down grittiness and time it takes everyday to mix together, but, grittiness or not... They love it fresh!

This is it, as far as Crested Gecko food. Nothing else compares. I've had my crestie for about seven years and this is what she eats. It mixes up well and she seems to like it. I even think it smells good. I've occasionally given her treats of dusted crickets, but she seems to enjoy the hunt more than the meal. This is what you need if you have a crested gecko.
