1 Pair Black Leatherette and Foam Ear Pads with Tape for Skullcandy Crusher Over Ear Wired Headphone

I bought these because the ear cushions on my skullCandy Crushers were falling apart. They are freying, or shedding for the lack of the better word, and the adhesive decided to quit on both of them to the point where; I was left with a sticky Greasy mess.I stumbled upon these after not finding a OEM replacement (don't think there is a OEM replacement) and decided to give it a try after looking at some reviews here.The install was easy and simple. The cushions are fitted with 3M double-sided tape. Once they're on, they're on. But you do have some room to adjust but it's slim.The feel of them are kind of so-so for me. I have larger ears than most, the Triangular taper on the top of the cushion does apply pressure to the top parts of my ears. That being said; extended use can be uncomfortable for me.Outside of that, the fit was notably different. There's one review here that says that they felt these cushions gave more noise cancelling. And I can vouch for that. It's a overall improvement.I'll happily buy these again if need be.

These fit the trapezoid shape of Skullcandy Crusher ear pads. If you follow the instructions it’s a very easy replacement. If you don’t like the old sticky stuff left behind, I found that using a Go-jo or Fast Orange gritty cleaner helps loosen the sticky stuff. Then I scraped it off slowly with a thin knife. I wanted a clean surface to put the new pads on. 3M makes good quality adhesives. After a rinse and a dry, the old frames were good to go. I do miss the Skullcandy logo on the inside of the ear pads but these new ones are in much better shape. Haha. Hopefully they hold up to sweaty gym workouts. If they don’t, I’ll let you know! Very comfy so far, and I have sensitive ears.

When I found out I couldn't get my Crusher cushions anymore I went on a hail mary search for a match. I'm delighted to report there a perfect replacement! It's funny to see them side by side as I used the originals for nearly 10 years. Hard to say if they've gotten flatter in that time or these replacements are just deeper but I love the depth now! They're just as comfortable, soft and fit to a T as long as I was patient and careful on placement. Probably going to buy more to keep for the future, just in case! They've absolutely breathed new life into my headphones

Thankfully the item page has videos on how to remove and replace the ear pads. Otherwise, its pretty easy. A great replacement for the original wired skull crushers. Just need to remove the ear pieces. The battery side just has a clip to remove, while the non-battery side just needs to be bent and pulled out from the top and bottom edges (its pretty durable and flexible). the replacements can be used for either side. peel off the tape cover on the replacements and line up the indents on the ear pad plates. once they are on, slide the plates back on (the non-battery side will need to put in one side first, then bend it to slide it into the other side). Done! Enjoy the replacements because I am!

Occasionally, I like to pull out the old Skull Crushers (I still feel like that should be a “K” - Krusher…idk). Find something with a headphone jack, plug them in and slide that bass button up to max. Unfortunately, it had been quite a while since I did so, and when I pulled them out of the bag, the ear pads were disintegrating. Much to my dismay, I suddenly realized that the old pair of JBL’s I used to have had not in fact been destroyed by my kids. It was simply age and soft, fake leatherette.Sorry, I digress. Because of the way the original ear pads were designed, you can’t slip them off like some other brands. You have to peel them off. Thus, these replacements come with 3M sticker tape (2-sided and pre attached). Make sure you get as much of the fuzzy remnants off before you stick them on. Doesn’t have to be perfectly clear though. That 3M stuff sticks.They are thinner, but the material still feels like it will hold up well and be comfortable. Not as good as the originals, but unfortunately, those were not meant to be replaced. If you want to hold onto that corded SkullCandy Crusher headset, and not be covered in those little flakes of leatherette material, these will do the trick. Also, it’s a fair price to get your KRUSHERS back in action.

These ear pads were super easy to install and are very comfortable to wear. The only snag I hit during installation was that the adhesive on the back is a bit wider than the plastic frame it sits on, but this hasn't effected how they work and nothing has gotten stuck to the overhanging adhesive. The pads are slightly larger and firmer than the originals, but I like them more because I feel like they give a better seal around the ear. The material feels nice and the construction seems solid. I've been using them consistently for about a week and have no complaints. I'll definitely be buying these again if I need to.

These replacement pads are very comfy and were easy to install. Is a good purchase, still using these pads after 6 months, don't feel the need to replace them anytime soon. I'm taking good care of them and they seem like they'll last for much more.
