So Easy and sturdy!!!
I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy, lightweight and easy to use these folding stairs are!!! We travel 5,000 miles every year to visit family with 118 pounds of love, who goes everywhere with us. He is getting older and has had surgery on one of his front legs and now has arthritis in it, so we were looking for an easier way to get him in and out of the SUV, these steps are perfect!! They fold up easily and extend quite a ways just as easy. We did find that you need to put one foot on the bottom bar since we don't use the caribener to attach the steps to the back latch. It took him a couple of days of training, now he is an old pro. We bought the 150 lb weight limit size.

Great item, dog is scared by new set up
So like most people looking to help out their pets, I decided to put this to the test. I have a 100lb lab, that loves to go where I go but has always hated the car (yes I don't understand it either and he's almost 7). So I bought these steps to help with his hips and knees. However, as soon as I whipped this snazzy thing out, he looked at me like, dad you have a better chance of keeping me on a leash full of squirrels than you do getting me up this contraption. However, I got him to go up and down multiple times, treats are essential, especially with dogs who are skittish or do not like new things. Maverick now uses this about half of the time, the other events he just hops in like it's no problem now. However, he is learning day by day that it is easier to use the steps it just freaks him out a little bit, but you can't expect your dog to just run up something brand new. This folds down and can be put up in about 5 seconds total. Super durable material so far (two weeks of use) and the pads on the steps help a lot on the dogs feet! Great piece to have if your loved one has hip/knee issues.

Idea good, quality bad
The product works well for a Ford Explorer for the back. The product is very light however, it has fallen apart within two weeks of using it for a 40lb German shepherd puppy. The screws are too short to hold it together. My husband (being a handyman) spent an additional 30.00 to buy the screws and parts needed to make it work and took about three hours to "rebuild" it. German shepherds are very smart and the dog was going up and down with no problem until the bottom two steps collapsed. Lucky she did not get hurt!

solid and compact
The media could not be loaded. My Golden has been hopping up onto her grooming table since she was 6 months old but now that she's over 9 years old that's too much of a stretch. I decided on stairs over a ramp since they seem to fold up more compactly and there is no issue of traction. These stairs are perfect for her. They are stable and they fit under the chair near where she is groomed.I'm glad I found an alternative that should cover the senior years of her life.I would add that the carabiner clip is extremely flimsy, almost useless, and since it is responsible for the security of the stairs, I replaced it and dropped a star. I would also add that you should make sure the stairs are extended at or beyond 90 degrees or they may fold up under load especially if not clipped.

Very easy to use and very effective
Absolutely wonderful and a must for anyone with a dog that struggles to get in a vehicle or has special needs. If your dog can go up and down stairs this will be a piece of cake for them. The device is light but solid and quick to extend and fold back up like an accordion. I love it & gives me security that my dog can safely enter and exit my SUV.

Cheaply made
Tubing is really thin, so you cant tighten the screws very well without crushing the support tubing and the screws end up falling out left and right.

Good for a month usage...Then they start to fall apart
I LOVED these the first month I got them. So helpful getting a 85 lbs lab into the back seat of a truck but they only lasted right over a month and they started coming apart (the rungs are coming out of the side holding together the "step".) Super sad because the dogs took to using them really quick.

Perfect for My 12 Year Old Shepherd
Light weight, easy to store and easy to use. Better than a ramp. These stairs fold easily and can be placed in the back with my dog or on the backseat floorboard. After only only one try, she was up the stairs and into the back of my SUV, ready for the dog park. So easy to carry and sturdy enough for my dog (65 pounds). Best puppy purchase to date.
