LUNAExotic Series Spalt Maple Concert Ukulele with Crescent Moon Soundhole

I really like this ukelele. Many people said it came without strap pins. Well mine came with them. The bag it comes in is not very protective. No padding. But the ukelele itself is well made and sounds beautiful. Stays tuned well even with new strings. I waited a week for this as it was delayed. All in all I'm delighted!

Since there is a dearth of reviews for this, I thought I'd add my 2-cents. Take this with a grain of salt as I am new to ukulele (though I've picked 3 finger banjo for 40 yrs [Stelling Sunflower] and have played fiddle going on 15 yrs). Beautiful looking instrument with delightful intonation and sustain. Appears very well constructed. Neck is smooth and well shaped for my hand and is flat and accurate (no buzzing out of the box and accurate noting the length of the neck). Tuners are smooth and it appears to be holding tune very well after "wanging" on it for a couple days (Aquila Nylgut strings did take ~two days to stabilize, not unexpected). The tone is not as bright (sharp?) as other Uke's that I've heard which suits my taste very well. It has very good volume. The body is not as orange as the pictures (more of a soft brown with varied prominent grain) and there is an interesting dark golden pearloid binding that is not apparent in the pictures, very nice. The body does appear to be constructed from high quality laminate (which was never really clear from the description here or on the Luna site). Still, it has a really beautiful voice.Very minor complaints: Some of the fret ends were a bit sharp requiring minor dressing to smooth. The back has a couple of very slight, very minor gouges detectable only by running my finger tips over the surface. I was only then able to see them with glancing light and knowing where to look (not detracting at all).All in all, I am very pleased with the instrument and have thoroughly enjoyed the short time I have had it.Addendum: On further inspection, the "gouges" appear to be a natural feature of the grain. The back is book-matched and the marks appear in exactly the same position and are the same length on each side of the back. They do not detract in any way.

I love my new Luna ukulele! It took a little while to tune properly, but just be patient for a few days. It’s so pretty and sounds great.

Since this is a new model for Luna,I couldn't find any reviews. Buying without hearing it first, I was a little worried. Luna has a great reputation so I took the chance.So much more beautiful in person. The sound is amazing: Vibrant and lively sound, great action, comfortable and natural neck. I was surprised at the binding; it's sort of a bronze coloured shell.

Such a beautiful ukelele

Its a gorgeous ukulele! Love it so much more in person than on pics, the wood is just the right amount of warmth. Also it was very well packaged to ship to Canada, much appreciated. Beware I had to pay 23$ customs fees upon reception. It comes with a bag although its very thin, doesn’t have much padding.

Amazing quality, the sound is crisp and beautiful just wow, this is the most beautiful ukulele I've ever laid my eyes on. It's also very well made. I don't think I could love it more than I already do 100%!!!!! It is so much more beautiful in person.

Love this Uke. It has a really beautiful tone. A bit blonder colour than the golden tone in the picture here. But it is really pretty and sounds great. Definitely recommend this Uke.
