Can it remove those pesky hairs that grow on the edge of the ear?

If they can be shaved off, then yes. But, this shaver has no extra "mustache type" cutting blade like the older models had which would haveeasily enabled you to cut those pesky hairs.

Does the M60 come with a built in brush for cleaning?

Dear Clifford, the M60 really has a small brush, hided in the bottom ( I haven't seen it ). But is very small, and even though I use another brush, and a small paint pincel, that helps me a lot ! And I use rechargeble 1,2 Volts batteries, with no lose of efficiency of the shaver.
