the book is well done and the transcriptions are thorough.

The book arrived in great condition - not a scratch no bend nor teat anywhere that I could find. The best of Yngwie transcribed here is certainly worth the time and money and with some persistent practice you have masterpieces from the maestro that will prove beneficial to the player. It will take time and patience but is well worth it. The result is an impressive array of chops and technique building, and actually listenable material

I say accurate... only downside is the difficulty level, mostly having to do with achieving that level of articulation at that speed. The man is famous for a reason, he's the genuine article... Happy with the book. Years of material to go through.

Not what I expected, some tab lines are numbered 22 which tells you how inaccurate these tabs are as he only plays a 21 fret guitar....if you have a 22 fret plus guitar your ok but if you want the authentic sound and notation then not the book for you.

This book met my expectations and more!!! I haven't put it down since it gave me more than I had expected love it!!!

Great songs to hear and play. Accordingly written, Cover looks nice with a picture from the 80's.... Great buy!!!! 100% recommended for guitarrists

I recommend this book to all guitarists who wish to challenge themselves. As far as Malmsteen tabs go, this is the best there is. It is really thick and gives you both the musical notation and conventional fret numbered tabs for each line of music. Some fans may not like that most of the songs are conventional songs with verses and chorus and an interlude followed by guitar solo, but I think it is the way to go. Flip around, learn an arpeggio here, some chromatic spiral over there. It is fun for any guitarist who likes the way Malmsteen does it and is willing to sit down with a music stand. Here's a tip. When you play on the higher frets don't use your pinkey

Je "découvre" gentiment l’œuvre de Malmsteen et avait envie de travailler quelques titres sans être un spécialiste de la discographie du bonhomme. Cette anthologie est donc parfaite pour moi. Livrée dans un état impeccable, la mise en page est à l'avenant : tout est clair, les symboles aidant à l'interprétation des tablatures et partitions fait l'objet d'une page dédiée, les partoches sont officielles... Excellent bouquin. Y'a plus qu'à... !

Arrived on time and very happy with the product. I think there are a few small errors in the transcriptions but can be worked around if you listen to the tracks. Would recommend it to mid level and advance players wanting an insight in the early playing style of Yngwie.

Sure you can look up the tabs on the internet. Perhaps some will be accurate and others will be a close variation, due to the lighting fast nature of his playing. Yes I have ear-balled it for most of his songs and re-phrased the solos to my style of playing, but there's nothing quite as satisfying than playing Yngwies hits note for note directly from an official anthology. The tabs are extremely specific in regards to timing, dynamics, wah-wah control, string bending, tremolo-arm usage, even the settings of the delay pedal he's using for complete accuracy.A+ for extreme attention to detail. And for that awesome suede leopard-print blazer.

Of course the usual mistakes in the transcriptions. But overall good enough. Only downside is that I would have picked quite a few different songs..

此方は輸入盤のギタースコアです。演奏表記も日本のスコアとはかなり異なります。表記を覚える程度に購入しても良いかと‥ページの最後に勿論英語で演法の解説があります。例えば、チョーキングCをベンドbと表記されていたり‥慣れないうちは⁇の連続ですが、ゆっくり英語と表記を読んで覚えるしか無いと思います。イングヴェイマルムスティーンの日本版スコアもシンコーミュージックなどから出版されているスコアもありますので、ぶっちゃけると 日本版がオススメです。ギタースコアならドレミからもCD付きで出版されています。日本版の古いスコアは複雑に書かれていますが、此方の方が簡易的と思います。弾きやすい かな‥日本版と照らし合わせながら弾こうと思います‥
