I love candles and I buy different brands for different reasons, in various price ranges. I enjoy the chamomile lavender scent of this candle in my bedroom. This is a high quality, spa like scent and your room will smell like a high end hotel. I find this scent can fall into many different categories from sexy to comforting to soothing. When it comes to burning this candle you have to understand it’s made to last so it will not burn down quickly. This means that 2-3 hours is not enough time to burn this candle properly. The wax is not going to melt down in that amount of time, it’s 16 ounces and it’s high quality. This is the kind of candle that needs to burn all day or night. I burn it for about 4-6 hours at a time. Most candles (if they are good ones) need to burn for 2-4 hours depending on how big it is, this one needs a lot more time than that. This is a good thing when you want your home to smell good all day (or ah all night). Some people confuse this as a bad thing, but they don’t understand the quality level. For example, when I burn my bath and body works candles after 2 hours the wax is already melted through to the edges, but that’s because it’s not on the same quality level as this candle. Yeah they burn evenly, but the candle last about 25-45 hours, lafco will give you about 90 hours. Depending on my purpose sometimes I want a shorter burn so that’s when I would use a bath and body works candle, which retails for about $22.50. This candle retails for usually around $60.00, but it’s smells expensive and last longer overall. The smell of this candle is just divine.This candle is very attractive and comes in a beautiful box and a lovely art glass container that creates a unique and beautiful ambiance and they fit into your decor easily and look amazing, you can repurpose after using. This makes it a great gift, you will need to maintain this candle by trimming it. If you find that one side is burning more than the other your wick might be leaning closer to that side so simply move it over towards the side that needs to burn more. If you don’t want to burn this candle for a long time and you want to force the wax to melt faster put some aluminum foil along the edges of the top, but don’t cover the actual flame. This trick will force the wax to melt down faster. This candle is worth the price and will last you a long time and you will enjoy it, they are addictive and a must have in my home.

My sister first gave me one of these LAFCO candles as a gift, and declared them as her favorites, and after burning that first one, I realized she was right. They burn so cleanly, and the Champagne, my favorite, has a light, fresh, beautiful scent that does not overwhelm you, but still permeates the area lightly in which you are burning the candle, as it should. After I finished my first LAFCO, I pulled out another candle to burn, one which was much less costly but also a name which people may be more familiar with, and I was shocked both by how the candle smoked in comparison, and did not give off a permeating scent like it should, other than a burning smell. After burning it for an hour, I blew it out, threw it away, and looked to where I could order LAFCO online, and hopefully for a decent price. I was pretty pleased to find these on Amazon, at about 15-20% off the full retail price, depending on the scent you order.The candles are made from soy, so maybe that makes the difference, and the company claims they will burn for about 90 hours. I'm not sure or not if that's truly the case, I do have some of the candle left over in my jar because mine tend to not burn evenly, so I'll scrape the leftover amount out and put it in a new candle of the same scent that is burning, to maximize these. And the jars they come in are truly beautiful like they claim, and also the really nice white boxes they come in, wrapped with a ribbon, which do make them an excellent gift. Although expensive, these candles are high quality and in my opinion are truly worth the price.

This was my first lafco candle and it will most definitely not be my last. I am honestly obsessed with candles and have found that the more expensive ones are worth it both in fragrance and burn time. The bathroom lafco candle smells amazing and I would recommend this candle to anyone that's looking for a candle that burns well, lasts a long time, looks great while it's burning (and even while it's not thanks to the beautiful blue container), and fills a large space with a gorgeous fragrance. I live in a pretty good sized apartment and our kitchen, living room, and dining room are all one really big space with 12 foot ceilings and this candle easily fills the entire space with it's scent. As another reviewer said (which really made me laugh once I got the candle and realized I did the EXACT same thing) when I come home and am walking up the stairs I can smell the candle and immediately ask my roommate "how long has the lafco been burning?!?!" not because it doesn't last long, but because I want to enjoy every minute that candle is burning!To wrap this up...yes it is an expensive candle, yes there are less expensive candles on the market, but you will not find another candle that is as enjoyable and worthwhile as a lafco candle and of the fragrances I've smelled at a store, the Bathroom scent is the best one. As far as burn time, I haven't kept track hour by hour but we've had this candle for a month and a half and have burned it for many hours...it lasts a very long time (just be SURE the first time you light the candle to trim the wick and allow the candle to burn until the entire top has melted so that you don't get a tunnel and waste half of the candle-google how to properly burn a candle if you don't know, it's worth the time)

Lovely good early service for xmas

I love this candle...yes it's pricey but it honestly smells just like an amazing ski chalet! It's not overly "christmasy" like so many pine candles can be. I use it all winter and it lasts long time.
