Came just in the nick of time and will hopefully stand the test of time. The original Yoga/Lenovo cable did not fare as well after just two years. The "proprietary" charging cable form factor deserved and deserves to be exposed and defeated as the restraint of trade item it really is. Shame on you, Lenovo, and congrats to Funny Charger. I am somewhat perplexed at the obvious money grab the original design must have been. Until I am further enlightened, that's my story and I'm sticking with it.

Hi have a lenovo yoga that has had problems recharging since I got it. I wasn't sure of the problem but finally when I was tired of trying to make the original cord work, I purchased this. Fixed it. The cord that came with the computer would sometimes work, sometimes not which made it difficult to figure out what the problem was. I've had the new cord for almost a year and it's still doing a great job.

The charger does provide power to my pc, but if the pc is on while the computer is charging, the battery gets so hot it's almost too hot to remove from the outlet. I believe it is defected and will be requesting a new one.

While ordering a replacement charger, we were careful to look for a charger that can support Lenovo yoga 700-14ISK, the product description said it does; OEM: Supplied charger-ADL40WLC ; Amazon supplied charger-AD065G2UZ. Damaged the laptop, now it wont even start anymore.
