I called the company and all my questions were answered. ( Vital Nutrients 860-638-3675 )This product is made from Pig Pancreas. Pancreatic enzymes are produced by the exocrine cells of the porcine pancreas and provides a broad-spectrum of digestive pancreatin. My husband has pancreatic cancer. He takes Vital Nutrients , pancreatic enzymes 500mg supplement with meals.

What is the source of pancreatin in this product?

HiThe manufacture does not indicate the source in their catalog but it is most likely pork

Is this product equivalent to Creon 36,000?

I don't know as I have never taken Creon 36,000. I do know I have suffered for years with digestive issues and while, this hasn't completely resolved my issues, it has lessened the severity quite a bit. Hope this helps.
