But smaller than I expected

The stones are nice and will make some nice rings. But for the price I think they maybe dyed howlite. I destroyed 2 cabochons testing them. I tried the acetone test and found no dye. I burned one and got some smoke. It turned white and then I broke it in half It was still blue in the center. The second cabochon I heated for 2 full minutes with a butane torch. It turned completely white. it got red hot. Picked the cabochon up with spring loaded tweezers and placed it in water. it turned to gritty brown mud. They also passed the scratch test. But again the price and consistent color of the stones makes me question their authenticity.

I have a nice Indian sand art clock that uses turquoise as hour markers and was missing some. These made perfect replacements and they look good. Uniform size and polish level, reasonably priced, shipped fast.

These are very small. They are a decent size for a stud earring or a charm on a bracelet. Im disappointed
