My daughters love this "iron" supplement because it does not works well.

Helps my enlarged spleen
I have been taking these for a few years for my enlarged spleen. I no longer have the pain in my left abdomen like I had when diagnosed. So I'm guessing it's working. It's not about the Iron. If that was the case start taking straight up Iron supplements. Don't understand some of these reviews. I recommend this product.

Makes you poop!
I can't confirm or deny iron level improvement. All I know is when I take before bed, I wake up and empty my bowels up to my eyeballs... So that's a great affect even if it's not raising iron lol. Blackstrap is so good for you but gets tiring to eat/drink plain, so capsules are a great alternative. No taste

Did some research and found that bad cramping with your menses is most likely the lose of iron through blood. So, I purchased these for 2 people, 1 with excruciating cramps and one with an iron deficiency. Worked well for both. The cramps? Went away as soon as it hit the blood stream. So if you're digestive track is normal that could be as quickly as 30 minutes. If not then an hour or so. Cheaper on their website BUT whoever is in charge over there has done away with free shipping without a mandatory amount spent. Hence me buying it on Amazon. Getting a good iron chewable iron tablet and a bottle of blackstrap molasses will also help.
