Awesome bike for a beginner

The bike was easy to set up but unfortunately it came with a broken front brake, the process to get a new brake caliper sent to me was kind of frustrating but they sent me a new one and all in all a good purchase

Didn't feel I got quality out of the product. Framing was good. My son wouldn't use it at the key Park and came down on the landing and it bent the rim within minutes.

When I bought this bike it was right about 100$, in my opinion if you’re buying this bike for your teenager I think around 100$ is a fair price, it held up I lived in Alaska so it’s very moist and I lived on the ocean so the air was salty and surprisingly my bike hardly rusted at all and I didn’t even keep it under a cover most the time, my only issues were with putting the front tire on as the front fork was bent, I’m guessing that’s just a shipping issue, and the bearings inside the back rim started going out pretty fast, I was 19 and was a little rough on things so keep that in mind, lastly the ball bearings inside the crankset went to crap on me but like I said before I’m yoong and rough on things and I didn’t take the best care of the bike, I would pay no more than 120$ for this bike

I am very disappointed with this bike. I normally do not write reviews, but this bike deserves one. First, is there was no instructions to put this bike together, luckily my husband is a mechanic. Second problem was the front wheel axle nuts were striped, my husband had to go to Ace to buy new nuts, so my son can have this on his birthday. Third problem is the rear brake cable was to long and cheaply made that it started to unwrap and poked my sons leg. Fourth issue was that the pedals seized and now he can’t pedal. Fifth, the wheels are not true. Sixth, there is too much end play on both the front and rear wheels. Last is over all bike quality was poor. Surprised that Tony Hawk would allow his name to be put on a cheap crappy ass bike. I would exchange this bike but my son loves it to much and at this time would be difficult to get him a new one.

My some learned to ride in one day, he spent about an hour, pushing and kicking, next thing you know he was riding it, with ease and comfort. Great color combination, very light to carry, but a tough built.
