I had high hopes for this, wanting a slight woodsmoke smell. But even just using a small amount, it is STRONG. It's not so much that it smells bad or like something else, but it's like wanting smoke on the breeze and feeling instead like you are sitting right next to the fire and getting choked by the smoke.

The Campfire melts are fantastic. They don't have a harsh scent that a fire can have. They state they are highly scented and they are but not in an overpowering way. They have a very pleasant scent slightly scented with the true scent of a delightful campfire. For convenience sake, we have an electric fireplace but wanted to be able to enjoy the scent of the wood burning fireplace. This scent does that so well. We've had the scent going about a week and it's just as strong and pleasant as day one. We have the electric wax melter sitting on top of the electric fireplace. We really like these and will purchase more when needed.

The scent is nothing like a campfire, more like a weird expired vanilla that doesnt smell *awful* where Im going to heave, but its not that campfire smoke smell that I crave. The search continues..

These smell great! It is so hard to find campfire scent, I was happy to find these. The fragrance is strong enough to carry through the whole house but not overwhelming at all.

My idea of what a camp fire smells like must not agree with what the wax make thinks. Mine smells like perfume

I am not sure what the scent is (possibly old lady???) but it is definitely NOTcampfire.

In fairness to this product it seems impossible to actually capture the scent of a campfire/burning wood. I'm giving up trying and keeping a burnt log in my kitchen to sniff occasionally.

These melts smelled great, lasted far longer than others I bought at Walmart....just a great product!!
