Fun and creative!
Me and my son had a lot of fun creating the model dinosaurs. I am not very creative but the instructions made it very easy for me to follow. There is plenty of clay to go around the dinosaur structures even with some leftover! The product comes in a nice little box all packaged very nicely, so it would be ideal for a gift! I was especially pleased with the actual structures, the wooden pieces to create the structure were easy to assemble and take out of the packaging- the structure was sturdy and gave a good platform to model the clay around.

Loved it
Super cute, nice Alternative to the same stuff. In my son’s hand didn’t last that much though. That’s a shame. I should stop buying him stuff. -.-

Love this modelling kit- easy and fun.
I bought this modelling kit for my son’s 7th birthday. I’m not very good at model making and hate having to read instructions- but this kit was simple, easy and fun. The instructions showed what to do very simply with helpful pictures. It made perfect sense, how the pieces popped out the pre-cut slots and how it fitted together in numerical order. The clay covering was very easy to mould and myself and my son had great fun making the T-Rex. We’ll be making the other dinosaur in the kit this afternoon. I rarely write reviews, but felt compelled to say how good this kit is.

My Grandson's Eyes lit up when he opened it.
I always try and get gifts for my Grandson to allow him to express himself and allow him to explore his mind. He loves dinosaurs but also loves painting and many other forms of art.He was thrilled when he received this and dived straight in. He couldn't wait to paint it and it consumed his mind for ages. I would recommend this to any child, the joy you get from seeing their smiles once they have completed it all by themselves is priceless.

Excellent toy
Quality much better than expected. Perfect gift for our dinosaur mad son. Dries out nicely so that the models canbe played with or displayed. No mess or clean up required! Good value for money

My grandson loved making the dinosaur
This is a really clever idea. I did find my 6 year old grandson needed a little help making up the skeleton and I used a little craft glue to make it more stable. The clay made a very realistic Tyrannosaurus and he had great pleasure in decorating the finished model. The clay dried to leave a toy which he plays with and is very proud of. The original kit included two Stegosauruses heads and body parts but no legs. The seller responded immediately with a replacement kit. Great service!

Fun and pretty easy.
This is really fun. My 5 yo did it with just a little help, he read the numbers, punched out the pieces and matched them up. Sometimes the wooden pieces were tough to get all the way together so I helped with that and I gave him some direction on how to cover the skeleton in a way that didn’t use too much or too little of the clay (it’s not really clay.. it’s like crayola model magic. Foamy and stretches in strings like silly putty). It does start to dry pretty quickly so you have to stay on task.I took off one star because two of the containers of foam-clay were filled unevenly and some of it was under the lid so it didn’t close tightly. One of them was completely dried out and the other was only partly usable. Fortunately they were accent colors and could be skipped or the whole thing wasn’t needed. It was a gift and was given after the returnable timeframe so it was lucky they weren’t main colors. We felt like there was extra foam for the accents but could have used just a little more on the main colors (for the Stegosaurus anyway, haven’t done the t-Rex yet) so next time we’ll use a little of the accent color under the main color.Inconsequentially, the wood pieces leave your fingers dark and sooty smelling, I’m assuming from where the laser burnt the wood to make the bone shapes. It washes right off. The clay had a faint smell that dissaorared when dry (I’m particularly sensitive to smells and this didn’t give me a headache).

I DIDN'T CARE MUCH FOR THIS ART
THIS IS A CHEAPLY MADE PROJECT. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND IT.THE WOOD PIECES WERE THIN AND EASILY BREAKABLE. THAT WAS DISCOURAGING TO MY SON.IT DIDN'T HOLD UP TO THE CHILD EXPECTATIONS.I FELT LIKE I FAILED MY SON MOSTLY BECAUSE I WAS PENNILESS AND COULDN'T AFFORD A DIFFERENT BRAND TO MAKE HIM FEEL BETTER.IT WAS WEAK AND COULD NOT STAND BECAUSE THE CONNECTING PIECES DIDN'T HAVE A TIGHT FIT AS THEY SHOULD HAVE

Great gift for creative kids
I am always looking for something for my creative hands on 6 year old to do. This was great for him! He has very basic reading skills, and was able to do this by himself. Fantastic gift, I think 6 may be the youngest age for a kid to do by themselves.

Fun, but not easy to do for younger kid
As said by others this, takes patience, dexterity, flexibility and ability/maturity to deal with frustration. So, I would recommend for older kids. I’m an adult, and I ended up doing both. The second one wasn’t easier. On the first one, of the wooden skeleton pieces broke, tried super glue, then household cement and finally just clay. As they dry, they sag and touch the table if not propped up, and the skeleton shows through some. Would have liked more of the main body color for both, as it gots holes as it dried so had to push the clay around some. I have pictures, cannot see how to add them onto this review.

Easier than I thought!
I bought these for my 5 and 7 year old (came with 2 dinos and they each got one). It was easy to get the “bones” off the sheets they were cut from (kinda like thin wood/hard cardboard). It was clear how the pieces fit together as they are numbered. We did reinforce it with a paintbrush and elmers glue, but it was pretty sturdy without the glue. The clay was very easy to work with and we all had a lot of fun!
