Home At Last

We love Susan Middleton Elya's "Oh No, Gotta Go" so we had to check this out too. It is a very nice book about how some people in a family can adapt easily to a new situation, while others take a little longer. This story seemed so real, like it just wasn't fiction. I'm sure this has happened many times in the past and will in the future.Felipe Davalos' illustrations are great too. !!

Read this book to my class when we were talking about heritage and cultures in America. This was a very good book regarding the Hispanic culture and adversity faced when coming to America.

My class loved this book!

Great for young bilingual children.
