From Wesley's own Writings, Records of Supernatural Occurrences in his Ministry
All in his own words as recorded in his Journals & his other writings, we have records of the following types of supernatural events (from the chapter titles):1) The Man John Wesley (an introduction to the book)2) John Wesley's Experience With Spiritual Warfare3) John Wesley's Experience With Miraculous Healing4) John Wesley's Experience With Slain in the Spirit5) John Wesley's Experience With "Holy Laughter" (includes demonic instances)6) John Wesley's Experience With The Gift of Tongues7) John Wesley's Experience With Unusual Manifestations of of the Holy Spirit8) John Wesley's Experience With the Gift of Prophecy9) John Wesley's Experience With Visions & Dreams10) John Wesley's Experience With Divine Retribution Against His Enemies11) John Wesley's Experience With Angels12) John Wesley's Experience With Supernatural Answers to Prayer13) John Wesley's Interpretation of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit14) John Wesley's Opinion on "Miracles"15) ConclusionEach chapter (usually) has a section which summarizes the chapter topic, followed by excerpted individual passages. There are frequent footnoted source references given throughout. The book is 219 pages long & very balanced in coverage of its subject. It is not possible for me to recommend this book too highly!

Different from the supernatural occurrences of Charles Finney
This is entirely different from the one about Finney.I love that both of them are written in such a way as to pick it up and read anywhere for a faith boost.Certainly keeps my attention.

It is a good book, but I felt it was written in a rather systematic way rather than inspired. It gives it a rather antiseptic feel to something I was hoping to be more spiritual.
