be prepared with hot glue to attach them
they worked well for the group costume that we got together. But the little pins on each kept breaking. we were prepared with hot glue and affixed it right on the jacket. if you don't mind making this a permanent part of your garment, don't buy them. There are two little pins on each epaulette and they make them stick up a bit. The hot glue was perfect, so be prepared!

Pins are very tiny and cheaply made
Very pretty, however the pins are very cheaply made and broke as soon as I tried pin to my outfit.
