Hush PuppiesOutlaw II Mens Black Lace Up Shoe

Was looking for a replacement pair for my old brown ones. Really pleased with these as they are brown leather rather than nubuck like my old pair. Size perfect and really comfortable.

Shoes. Not a lot to say really when they work fine and last for a while. (I remember thinking that the price was a bit much for ordinary shoes, so I don't think that they are Great value.)I think I am an average user of my feet. These have lasted the best part of a year before I feel that they have developed a weak spot for water to seep in. So a fair time to last before they start to deteriorate.I will probably buy similar when they get annoying and become relegated to gardening shoes. But I will look at competitors too.

I don't normally buy shoes online for the reason I seem to be between foot size 11 and size 12 and thus best to go to a shop to try on first. However in this case, these shoes were not to be found anywhere in a shop and the previous pair (which I have had for years) were worn out. But I was pleasantly surprised when these arrived that they fitted perfectly (at size 11) after I removed one of the two insoles that came inside the shoes. Definitely recommended - comfortable and warm to wear in this cold weather.

I have never sent for any item of clothing before on line because I have always felt it was such a problem if things don't fit and having to return them, but I have had a pair of black Hush puppies now for 10 years worn almost daily and I was so pleased with them that I bought a pair in brown which are not worn as much. My reason for giving this feedback is that I was so confident of the fit and long lasting quality that I thought I'll take the chance and send for some from Shoe Station Direct. I purchased the Black Outlaw II type which I received within 48 hrs of purchasing. They were in a shoe box and padded out inside the shoe for protection. I know it may sound boring but these are identical to the ones I wear now and are so comfy it is like going around in slippers. What I particularly liked was the new ones came with two types of instep to allow for correct fitment. I take a size 6 UK and they were the perfect fit. These shoes are well made I firmly believe they will give me the long life that the quality of Hush puppies give. I don't normally leave feedback but I'm glad there is a Company out there still supplying the quality of Hush Puppies.

I have worn the original Hush Puppy Outlaw 1 shoes for many years and have always found the superbly comfortable. I am no longer able to get the Outlaw 1 shoes so have tried these Outlaw 2 shoes thinking it looked like the finish on the uppers was most likely the only difference.How wrong I was - don’t know what they’ve done, but these are just about the most uncomfortable she’s I have bought. There is a seam of some sort in the inside at the back of the shoe and has dug into the centre foot above the heel and rubbed them raw.Also, I think the amount of material across the uppers over the toes has been reduced and they put pressure on my toes where the old outlaw 1 she’s didn’t.I have persisted wearing them thinking they will wear in, but have now resorted to removing the inserts to try and move the rub position. This has curd the problem with my toes, and slightly moved the rub position on the heel.Sorry Hush Puppy, you messed up a good shoe.

Very comfortable. Have regularly bought this model in the past.

Don't buy these shoes if you like dry feet. There is no membrane in them and come the first shower you'll squelch all the way home.Waste of your hard earned money.

Einfach gut. Die letzten Schuhe ähnlicher Art derselben Marke haben über 15 Jahre gute Dienste getan. Auch in den neuen fühle ich mich sofort wieder wohl. Ob sie ähnlich lange halten kann ich natürlich nicht sagen.
