All members of our family including a baby-girl love this book
All members of our family including a baby-girl love this book. It's durable, has different textures and sounds and very colorful. My daughter is playing with it since she was 3 months old and still loves it.

Great for babies!
My husband bought this book for our 4 month old. This is such a good book for her to begin with. She loves the fold out flaps! We washed this book in the washing machine (in a zipped laundry bag) on cold before she played with it, because she likes to chew, and then air dried it. It held up great!I would purchase this again!

Duck and horse makes this book worth while
The only page my 10 month old likes is to turn the duck which is attached with a button and to pull out and stick the horse using it a velcro. other than that he does not care much in the book. over all book is good. There is no text except the sound of the animals like moo, baba, neigh

Only down side is the Velcro
My 6 month old loves this book. She loves to play with all the pieces of it. I like that most everything can't be lost. only the duck on page 4 is not attached somehow. Each page rundown:Front has the Velcro removable cow1. has a attached removable chick and a rattle.2. has a pig family that you can twirl the mama pigs tail. 3. a Crinkly tractor moves so you can feel two soft fuzzy sheep.4. has a duck that snaps easily in and out. (at 6 months she cannot snap it in),5. a Velcro horse this is permanently attached with a rope.6. the front cover cow Velcros into place with other cows. 7. the page sleeping horse and pigs under the crinkly barn door. Chicks and sheep sleeping under a rough felt sack of oats and corn.8. rough felt hay bales cover the resting cows. The down side is it has Velcro. I hate anything with Velcro. I have to wash it separately otherwise... it sticks to the best thing in the wash. Maybe just my luck... but I hate it. The book would be awesome if it was snap shut book.

Ugly but functional
The drawings are horrendous, but the baby doesn't care and loves it, so whatever… that's what matters. Esthetics aside, it's a well-made book with a lot going on to keep the baby's attention. I like that the pages have a firmer foam core, so while they are still soft, they hold their shape and can be turned easily by a young baby, like real pages. We have a couple more Lamaze cloth books, but both have the flimsy cloth pages that get bunched up when the baby grabs them rather than flip like a book. So at this stage (6-7 months) this book is more practical, for turning the pages at least.

My 5 month old Granddaughter's favorite book
This is my 5 month old granddaughter's favorite book. She loves the crinkling pages and the cute animals. Every page is interactive. This book is soft and lightweight and she can handle this herself.
