I've had this back for about 10years. It's an older model but multiple combat deployments, hundreds of camping and hiking trips. This pack is hands down the best. Color doesn't fade to much. Is water resistant but not proof. I highly recommend this for any use. It folds up small for overnight trips and is more than enough for a long outing. Comfortable on long hikes. I can't say how great this pack is.The waist belt will fit a rather large person. It has plenty of room to fit a large laptop. The zippers are heavy duty but almost every bag has its limits but for me I haven't had issues of any kind with them.

Good money value and sturdy materials.
