KidKraft Mid-Century Kid Wooden Corner Reading Nook, Gift for Ages 3 - 8 , Gray

Bought this for my home office since my dogs like to be in there with me and it keeps them from lying on the floor right behind my desk chair. I added some dog stairs for safety and they instantly loved it! It also gives them a window view which is a nice bonus and the extra storage helps keep my office organized. I know it's for kids and I'm sure would be just as great for them. The only caution is it took my incredibly smart and handy husband a bit to put it together because the instructions weren't great - and we had to send the first one back due to broken pieces. But it was worth it - the dogs and I love it!

Make sure to look over all parts, assembled everything and didn’t notice the cracks in the support side beams. They still hold and I’m planning on replacing them, other than that it’s a pretty good product.

First step....put the legs in. Fail. The legs appeared to just keep spinning-so we tightened them to a place where they felt most secure. When we flipped the base over, it was wobbly. When we tried to see which leg was uneven, by taking the offending leg out-the screw came out of the leg. Turns out when you try to tighten (righty tighty!) it loosens the screw from the leg. Terrible design right off the bat. Writing this review before putting the rest of it together, while my husband remakes the legs. Hopefully the rest of assembly goes better. Editing to add...cracked piece on step 5. Cam Locks are all out of VERY soft metal, could not tighten a single one with a Phillips screwdriver all the way without it completely stripping the grooves. Had to use a wide flathead to tighten VERY carefully.

It’s a bit expensive for it to be cheap looking

I bought this for my niece and nephew as a gift and love that it has storage and that it has a place for my niece and nephew to sit and read or relax while on their tablets. It is very sturdy and well worth the money. I will be buying a second one for my other other 2 nieces.

It’s Beautiful!! Love how it looks and it’s sturdy! The only bad thing I can say it doesn’t have back support. My girl is 2.8 so she lies down in it instead of sitting. But love it so much we have had it over 2 months and it has hold up great. The cover is removable so easy to clean too! I put it together alone (im bad at putting things together lol) and found it really easy !!

Good Quality and i love Kidkraft's designs! Arrived with a broken piece but I contacted their customer service and I had a new piece in a few days for free! great design, and my daughter and i can sit on it comfortably and safely
