STAR WARS The Black Series Supreme Leader Kylo Ren Force Fx Elite Lightsaber

The media could not be loaded.  To say I'm a Star Wars fan would be an understatement. I just recently started collecting these lightsabers and I have to say, I was nervous to fork over this much money on a "toy". I got the Darth Revan Force FX Elite saber on sale and it was one of the coolest pieces I've added to my collection. When I saw the Kyle Ren Force FX elite I decided to invest and I couldn't be happier.The Darth Revan saber is lightweight and you can tell it is made out of some form of aluminum composite. It also doesn't have a very good grip so I can't imagine it being very practical in a duel. Although it is amazingly cool, it doesn't feel like it would survive if you dropped it. The Kyle Ren saber on the otherhand...man this thing is beefy! Its about as heavy as a full sized Maglite and the grip makes you feel like you're holding an actually weapon and not a toy.The video I provided also doesn't do it justice. The lighting effects are amazing. The blade "opens" smoothly and the pulsing arching effect is as close to the flaming effect from movies as you can get. The sounds are also incredible, although it tends to give you the "clashing" strobe effect sometimes when you are just swinging it. Otherwise the effects are amazing.What I really love about these Force FX Elite sabers are the removable blades and display stands. I've seen other sabers where the blade doesn't come off and honestly I like being able to display them without the blades, but that's my personal choice. All in all, I rarely write reviews but this thing is amazing. I can't wait to get my Dark Saber and Emperor Palpentine Force FX elite sabers to add to this collection. Now if I could just find Darth Vader, Maul, and Dooku sabers, I would be set!

I really wanted this!! This is THE Lightsaber any collector should own.Firstly, this Lightsaber is rich in detail, features, sound and brightness!! Superior to past Lightsabers created by Hasbro!!That being said, I want to point out that this is not meant for heavy dueling!! A few light taps/clashing. Heavy dueling will cause blade to turn off often.Also lots of handling while lightsaber is ignited, turns off due to switch placement and ease of accidental power off.I personally with the power button was places else where it made so it’s not so easy to accidentally turn it off.Does not include batteries so make sure you I’ve 3 AA batteries handy.Everything else is fantastic build, look, sound and color. I couldn’t ask for a better looking Lightsaber!!This is the lightsaber I was looking for, would absolutely recommend to any collector!!

If you are in the market and can afford this saber, I recommend fully! This new Force FX Elite Series lightsaber is the real deal. As you can see in the pictures I provided, the detail on the hilt is just incredible. I also have the Disney Parks exclusive Kylo Ren lightsaber and this one is by far superior. Not only is the hilt awesome but also the electronics are a step up from previous Force FX lightsabers. The LED lights actually have a crackling white light that makes the saber seem unstable. Also, this saber has exclusive features. For instance, on one side of the hilt there is a button you can press that makes it seem like you are deflecting blaster shots. As well, if you hold the button there is a new feature, titled "molten effect" which makes it look as though the saber is being pressed against something and melting it with the tip of the saber turning a bright white and fading into a yellow/green all the way down to the red color. This saber is on the pricier side however if you do not own a Kylo Ren lightsaber and are in the market for a great one with removable blades and great FX, then this one is for you!

Lightsaber works great, came packaged great.

Opened the box for Christmas. Installed brand new Duracell batteries. It makes a quick sound when switched on and nothing else. No lights, no effects, nothing. Just that brief sound when first switched on. If you look at other revews and comments made on other websites, this appears to be a common problem. One person clams to be on their third one and each havng the same issue as this.Sad for such an expensive product, the quality control is basically crap.Update 2 12/29/2021- I ordered a second one and same sh!t qualty. This one turns on about every 50 flicks of the switch. When it does come on it is brief and turns off unexpectely.I am committed to getting one that works, so I wll continue to purchase one until I receive a working one and bear the cost on Amazon/vendor in dealing with all of the returns and return shipping.Update 1/10/2022 - I received my third one today, and the same piece of sh!t. I did discover the problem though. For all those of you who receive the defective one, if it just makes a pew sound when you turn it on, it is because the main blade is not making contact. It is a defect in the design. If you grab ahold of the blade and push it in while turning it on,it will light up. When you release the blade, it shuts down.I am going to return this one and try on the fourth one to see if I get one that works. .

It has good sound effects and details for a prop replica. It was shipped quickly and arrived in great condition.

Super accurate to the movie, the detail is far superior to the original The Force Awakens black series version. The removable blades are easy to take off and put on and they are much brighter than the others. Super cool for collecting highly suggested, price is worth the product you get.

The details on the hilt which buyers seldom showcase is amazing. 1. The exposed casing reveals the internal fittings which are greased in yellowish “oil”. 2. The pommel has vents which allows more of the sound effects to come through. 3-4. The saber comes with blade plugs that has a red plastic crystal in each one. 5. Even the battery pod which pulls out from the pommel end has details! The saber looks well-used with the burnt crossguard, greased fittings and grease marks here and there. REALLY REALLY WORTH IT!

The media could not be loaded.  Warehouse steal! Whoever returned a fully functioning lightsaber, thank you!!! Check that you’re installing the blade properly or the saber will not function! So happy! I paid 1/3 of the price...
