A positive inclusive book about body confidence and difference
With Jon Burgerman’s exuberant illustrations packed full of colour and humour, and a positive, inclusive message about being different and being yourself, readers are onto a sure-fire winner.Although aimed at younger readers, my children (aged 7 & 11) have enjoyed looking through this book many times since it arrived, opening up some interesting dining table discussions about how people are all different and how that’s just fine. Something that’s so important to understand in a society where self-expression is encouraged in some quarters and vilified in others. This vibrant book is the perfect introduction to the concepts of body image and ‘self’ for little just discovering who they are and where they fit in the world.

Lovely, fun, and colourful with a good message
This book features Jon Burgerman's wonderful artwork and a lovely message about acceptance and body positivity. Highly recommended for young children, based on the reaction of my toddler.
