Not strong enough for me
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. The only reason I'm rating three stars I'd because it does not hold up the intended knives safely. Only part of the board is magnetized, so I'm unable to use my heavier Damascus knives. My Cuisinart knives seem to work a little better. I really want to love this block, but it doesn't seem safe for my use. The video shows how the knife slides down, which had caused it to fall off a few times already.

Magnetic knife holder
Looks lovely, works great, well priced.I can't drill into the walls of my apartment to set up a wall mounted magnetic knife holder, so this was the next best thing. I'm very happy with it, holds all my favourite knives sturdily in place (6 in total), and it looks lovely as well! Shorter knives definitely have a harder time sticking as the magnet doesn't run all the way to the top edge of the board, but all the knives pictured are held in place fine.

My daughter bought me a knife set, with my favorite NFL team logo, for Christmas. This was purchased to display, never to be used, knives. It is perfect, as it doesn’t obscure any part of the knives. This being considered I am confident it would be perfect for the kitchen. It holds 5 knives, no more. I have no clue about ease to clean. I am very pleased with this holder!

Elegant and strong
I love this knife holder. It is very sturdy and thick, with a strong magnet for my japanese knives. The sharpener that comes in the package actually works. Couldn't be happier.

Well designed and excellent bamboo quality.Magnets are very strong and keep knives in place until I need to use them. Look nice since my kitchen is mostly made of wooden parts. Easy to clean, just wipe and dry. Overall happy with purchase. I might get another one. Thanks 10+
