VTGDR Non Stock Khaki N-1 Deck Jackets for Men

I expected better outside material but all in all the jacket was a good representation of the Navy Deck Jacket. The zipper was also on wrong side.

.. just like what I wore in the mid '60s - on an island and then aboard ship in 'nam, not that I needed it much in the South Pacific.... arrived in a week with rush delivery{$$$} but worth it.. I'd just been totally ripped off by another Chinese company (Hivenmax, bad news), but no problems with these guys.. fit as expected - they even contacted me to go over my height/weight.. very pleased....

After searching the Internet and purchasing two other imitations of the Navy N1 Deck jacket this is the closest to what I was looking for in authentic. The color, the stencil, are great and the jacket is from top to bottom made of better materials. They fit a little small but I was able to order a size up and the jacket fits well this is not a cheap windbreaker type of material it is more like a Carhartt-@type or Dickies work jacket canvas type material. If you are really looking for a Navy N1 Deck jacket, Don’t waste your time and money on the other cheap and worthless versions that are out there, you will Only regret not buying this jacket from the start

Jacket is reasonable for the money, but it's cut for Asian sizes. Expect the shoulders and armpits to be tight no matter what size you order. I ordered my regular size, 42, and it's fine with just a t-shirt on under it. The original WW2 N-1 deck jackets were also cut like this as people were smaller back then. The jacket I received did not match the photo exactly. The "USN" stencil is much larger on the jacket I got than what is shown in the photos and looks to be a iron-on decal instead of an ink stamp. Also, the zipper is a generic one, NOT the Talon as pictured and it is a left hand zipper. Buttons are tan instead of the green ones pictured. Some positives are the "jungle cross" material is right on and the poly fleece is actually quite warm and not at all scratchy. Overall, I'm glad I didn't pay more than the $109 for it, but in truth it's really not that bad. It's not 100% authentic to the original WW2 N-1 jackets, but more of a "vintage style" jacket that is completely functional. Overall grade would be a B

The jacket fits great. At 6’4” and 200lbs the 44 fits perfect. It is an athletic fit that I might be able to fit a thin sweater under. It appears very well made and looks sharp. I would definitely order again. I originally got it as an outside, work jacket but I like it too much to potentially spoil it with horse ranch activities.

As a Navy Vet, who entered service AFTER this coat was discontinued from service, I always wanted one of these coats. Fits great, but definitely go a size up from what you'd normally wear. I did and it's a tad snug but definitely still my go to coat! Oh yeah, it's a coat, NOT a jacket as it is very THICK!

This is one awesome coat. This is the real deal and the quality is military grade. This is not some cheap immitation. Follow the size chart and recommendation to up 1 size. The fit is great. This is among the best buys I have made on Amazon.

Yup, bought this one as a gift for a friend. Liked the quality of the construction, that if it was too small for me I might have kept it. All kidding aside, this it a solid jacket. Not as thick and as heavy as, let's say, a Carhartt jacket, but this one will hold up and it's lighter weight is a bonus. Well made and the shipping was faster than expected coming from over seas. Well done!
