Excellent camera great value.
I have a studio at the bottom of my garden it's a long way from the house. I have things in it I would hate to loose although the garden is secure I wanted a little extra reassurance and this so far fits the bill. The unit looks the part and would not look out of place in a modern house. The power lead is a suitable length and I found I needed no extention. I would have preferred it if the power lead was the same colour as the unit .black lead white unit ?. I wont go into detail about set up there are enough videos on you tube to get you out of difficulty. Setting up was easy enough ,I like the fact you can pan and tilt the camera to cover the room. I like the talk over ability it would deter anyone being told your uploading their images to social media. Not so sure about the alert thing. I had two alerts and nothing there. I know what your thinking mice, but I dont think so. I'm a bit of a cover every angle sort of person and have a movement alarm in the studio. I know it's working as when I panned the room the movement set it off. So it meant a swift move to my studio to turn it off before annoying my neighbor's. I will check the settings to see if it can be turned down. I have had this sort of camera before and I can honestly say this seems better than those that have gone before it. Main points great clear picture , having the ability to move the camera remotely makes the unit stand out among others you can get. Being able to talk to dog, baby, burgulars is also handy. The night vision is really good virtually as good as daylight. Easy to set up and the app works well. The only two grumbles I have and they are not game changers, I would have liked the power lead to be the same colour as the unit. Not an issue for my studio but if I was using it in the house I would buy a matching lead. The other is alerts two alerts nothing there that could become annoying and could cause you not to check alerts,(remember the story of the boy who cried wolf). To end on a good note this unit is incredible for its low price tag . It does so much more than others out there costing a lot more. It seems I was premature with my review . I just wish I would sometimes listen to my own advice . If a product and price looks to good to be true it usually is, now yet again been suckered into buying a mugs eyeful. Like an idiot I believed what the ad said works with up to a 128 ad card. It doesnt I purchased a high speed card specifically for this camera that is now as redundant as the so called security camera. Call me strange but if someone breaks in and you cannot record them no evidence . I thought that is the purpose of any security camera. Without a recording you have nothing to tell bill about other than you have been burgled you can do that without spending 24 of your English pounds . I'm going to have to contact amazon as I have no idea how to send this as long as your looking at it security camera back.as I'm on shielding. And before anyone jumps in and says do this do that. I have done the fixes same result the camera has a problem with the ad card. I think its to cameras that have the problem. It's about as much use as a an allotment in Chernobyl. Yet again another amazon useless purchase. Having written a good review and then edit it to complain about not being able to record I have to eat humble pie and apologise to the seller. I asked the Amazon community if anyone has managed to format the ad card. And many got back to me and once it was explained the card was easily formatted for use in the camera. So my original ramblings stand . It's a very good camera with great features .

Great indoor camera – clear image and very easy to use
I’m really happy with this camera. The picture quality is very clear (2K resolution) both during the day and at night, and the pan/tilt function works smoothly, covering the whole room easily. Setup was quick and straightforward using the app, and it connected to Wi-Fi without any issues. The notifications are accurate and can be customised, which is very useful. I also like that you can view the live feed anytime and move the camera remotely. Sound quality is decent, and overall it feels like a very reliable indoor camera for the price. Great value for money and ideal for home monitoring or keeping an eye on a room when you’re not there.

Brilliant!
Love it! Really affordable, easy to set up and amazing picture quality! I have got the video doorbell as well, it is just as good! Really easy to put up with the adhesive tape and takes minutes to set up! Definitely worth buying!

Limited vertical view otherwise Fantastic
Really great quality camrea, some amazing features including "baby crying" detection and notifications. I have only 2 small issues with it.. 1.The camrea can not view straight up/down, we are using this as a nanny cam mounted above the bed, so it dosent quite give the full coverage i would have liked. 2.the app is only designed for android so can not be installed on your pc or tv HOWEVER there are 3rd party apps that your can buy relatively cheap, but do require some level of computer knowledge to set up. That said, it's a really fantastic quality cam and easy to set up and use

Tapo C560CW camera
An Excellent camera that produces a very clear image with face recognition, and like all my other TPlink devices was very easy to set up with their app. As this camera utilities a 240v supply allows for continuous recording which I connected to a H500 hub fitted with 1Tb drive, for external storage rather than an internal card. Initially I had difficulty making this happen? However Thea of TP customer relations was a great help in resolving my problem which Not a fault of the camera but of my initial setting it up. I have several Tapo & Deco devices which are so reliable and easy to set up. Although I have contacted CS department in the past, I have always found they are on the ball right away, no long days waiting for answers. For me it gives piece of mind for good service solid products.

Tapo c211 2k camera
I already have 3 tc70 cameras and they have been faultless for over 2 years now. Got the c211 and its perfect, the night vision is very good and being 2k the picture is sharper. But the only reason I didn't get another tc70 is simply because the c211 was only £1 more (£20) so I thought "what the hell", but the normal price of £40 for the c211 would not be worth it. Tc70 is 1080p and perfectly suitable for most people. I have tapo WiFi light bulbs, plugs and cameras, they have all been faultless. The price is also unbeatable, I don't know how they do it, but I hope they never stop..... Not forgetting all these tapo devices link instantly to alexa and cameras can be viewed on my echo show 8 which is great. Highly recommend.

Great value security camera
Good camera, easy to install on the network. Lots of functionality available on the app. Good price, much less than the EZVIV camera that it replaced (which suddenly stopped working with my network ??!!). Ideal for keeping an eye on our dog when we have to leave her.

Pointed out a window & my thoughts as a Tapo long time user
The C11 this camera is really nice to look at , the Picture quality is excellent it really is, I was not expecting it to look that sharp! Its extremely clean crisp picture But I’m really used to using many C225’s the white one that’s about twice the price of this. That is like this black camera but with a white housing, I have a good feeling of them. This Black C211 looks really nice & it’s cheap & it’s very well made & no one can say a bad word about the app it’s not clunky , it’s clean & easy to operate & have a few hours of playing around on it. It will be like writing a txt. It also never drops from the WiFi I have many of my camera’s pointed out windows bar 1 , I have 3 C225’s & now this C211 Black camera pointed out a window You can’t use the IR for this as the inferred will bounce off the window & you will get a glare so If you live in the town or an estate or in a city , just leave it on day mode & the street lights will be more than enough so you can view everything at night MY CON’s with this is the features . So I’m used to getting Vehicle tracking & pet tracking & break glass & Frames per second & HDR picture with the 2K quality.. which this camera doesn’t have To me it’s very basic as in features, but it depends honestly on what you need the camera for. I’m using them in a security way & I’ve one in the sitting room, so if my house was broken into I have outside & inside covered Now with this camera the Black C-211 you don’t get vehicle tracking , nor can you set it to 15/20/25 or 30 Frames per second, which matters as in the lower the less memory it will use. But the higher means no motion blur even a car speeding past I can read number plates This to me looks like it’s set to 30FPS which I don’t mind I use 512Gb SD cards - imo use Amazon basics or really if you can afford it get the SanDisc extreme pro or ultra I can’t remember ( just make sure it’s class 10 V30 etc ) what the Amazon basics is.. the pro of the SanDisc is You will get longer out of it, as in think about it - it’s recording 2K pictures at 30 frames every second over & over & then you loop it & you do it again & again , so higher price SD card pays off in the longer term But you will get years out of Amazon Basics imo . Got off track. MY CON’s ARE - The features they are no where near what you get in the camera that’s twice the price it’s around €50 £47 pound. I want vehicle tracking & I want glass break & I want to set up this section for pets , this part for humans & this part for car’s etc & I want to be able to use 25FPS in HDR .. all of which you can’t do with this. That’s on me I thought they all came with that. So overall it’s amazing it’s perfect for in your home looking after someone or yourself or watching a pet or a security camera inside. But for pointing out a window In my opinion but the C225 to get all the extras that are so handy & made me a TAPO user for life Also the TAPO team made me say ok , I’m not going with blink or anyone else bar Tapo. I had 1 question a long time ago & they fixed it for me there & then , so nice & understanding & kind & such a pleasure to talk to. Also they call back ( txt email ) to ask is everything going okay & check in. The TAPO Team & Staff as a whole are amazing! If I did not own a more fancy Tapo camera before this one I’d absolutely love it . BUT I’m used to all the extra features & I love the HDR picture quality & I Love the Vehicle Detection & picking a zone So I know someone pulling into my car park- that’s my delivery or who was this at 2-30am .. they are not bad con’s it’s an amazing indoor camera And the perfect size & looks so nice in black I’m just used to the C-225 & hence why I just bought another & will be giving this to my mum .. but it’s an amazing bit of kit it’s just lacking a few of the more expensive features, End on - I’d recommend it depending on your needs, & yes it works perfectly out a window inverted you can flip the picture which is amazing.. it’s just lacking a few extras I’m used to. It’s really well made & at the price point & this money it’s a bargain. If you want extra security I’d buy more than 1 camera & use this one ( Black C-211 ) pointing in the home in the kitchen bedroom baby pets older person etc etc & I’d use the C225 out the window with all its features. I 100% recommend it & im blown away by the picture quality it’s truly amazing ! I’ll always use TP-Link Tapo for life now, lights smart home for everything they build quality products!
