I reccomend this 100%
This book is really awesome my nutritionist is the one who showed it to me and I went and bought it immediately. It has restaurants in it as well as just regular food. It helps you know exactly what calorie amount or carbohydrates. It's worth the purchase

for me, easier to get info by other means
The book is exactly what it says it is... and in my opinion nicely formatted, etc. But after getting this I found it hard to use because items are all stored by categories, so to look up something you have to first figure out what category it is in, and then thumb to that section of the book. I just started looking up every item in the index instead. Also, as good as the coverage is, it did not have info on lots of the items I looked for. I have a wifi connection, so for me I found it much, much more convenient to just do an online search for an item, and instantly would be able to find what I needed from search results. For me, this was many, many times more convenient then trying to use this book.

Pretty good restaurant coverage, although Mongolian beef was no where to be found
I did not think this book was that comprehensive unless you eat out a lot. I prefer to have foods listed more alphabetically rather than listed under restaurants.

Larger, but could be larger
We bought this as my husband deals with diabetes and the doctor gave him this book in pocket edition. The print is so small that it's almost unreadable, so I found this "larger" version. While it is larger, it's NOT large - some of us don't have the best eyesight. It also leaves out a lot of things, but it does help. I just wish they would put in out in true LARGE print. It's important for him to know the contents of his foods.

Diabetic Counting Carbs
I'm an insulin dependant diabetic. I count carbohydrates to determine my insulin dose. This book makes it easier, especially the section on restaurants where common dishes carb values are laid out. I would give it 10 stars if I could. I have the smaller version in my purse, and the larger print version at my home.

Great diet aid!
A very helpful tool with most popular restaurant foods listed. Makes it easy to eat out when watching calories. Can plan ahead what to order. For large print, though, as advertised, it still wasn’t large enough!

Still can't read it easily.
I got this book on the recommendation of a friend but the print is way too small still to read it easily without a magnifying glass or a microscope. My experience says that large print is in a large print this print is still smaller print than average books. Now for other people yeah fine but I can't read it without magnifying glass and I'm not gonna carry a magnifying glass and a book with me everywhere.

American!
Very disappointed. This version is for the American market and the lists of foods are of no use to me in the UK. I feel this should have been pointed out. A waste of money.

STRANGE BOOK, OLD OUTDATED INFORMATION
THIS DOES MUCH TO FORWARD OLD AND OUTDATED INFORMATION. NEWER DATA ON DIET IS LOW CARB HIGH FAT MODERATE PROTEIN IN DIET. THIS BOOK ISN'T COMPATABLE WITH KETO, PALEO OR NEWER DIETS. AS SUCH IT IS OF LITTLE USE. SMALL AREA OF PROTEIN COUNTS AND FIBRE COUNTS IN BACK OF BOOK. THERE ARE LOTS OF PICTURES, LOTS OF BALUES FOR FAST FOODS AND CANNED ETC GOODS, NONE OF WHICH ARE OF USE TO ME.
