Lee Friedlander: The Mind and the Hand: Richard Benson, William Christenberry, William Eggleston, Walker Evans, John Szarkowski, Garry Winogrand

This is an elegant slipcase with six thin books (about 30-36 pictures each) inside. One each for six artists from the '60s through about 2000. Unfortunately my copy came with two Winogrands and no Walker Evans. And the Amazon website does not provide an option to return or replace either the whole order or the extra/missing booklet, since it came from "Amazon Serivces," and not from Amazon Prime.The books that I got are well-printed, and the pictures are either interesting, revealing, graphically strong or all three.

Great pictures of great people - and a sweet evocation of friendship. LF just keeps them coming and as far as I'm concerned there will never be enough.
