My daughter says that this book is fantastic and it's full of amazing facts for children who are interested in history. 😊 Book is quite large , feels sturdy, its a nice quality. Drawings are captivating and we love cut outs in the window areas. Overall we have a happy birthday girl thanks to this lovely book as well 💓 💗. Thank you

Bought this for my 12 yr old daughter as she loves reading about history and this book really made her see and understand how people used live. She really loves it. It’s a beautiful book, a book that even I enjoyed reading, very illustrated and enlightening.

Wow! I am in love with this book! Utterly gorgeous with lovely little cut out details on the pages. Very interesting. Bought it for my 6 year old but I’m enjoying it just as much!

Presents for grandchildren. Good informative book. Nice quality. It is a rather middle class perspective ( it is National Trust ). However I would recommend it. It’s like looking into dolls houses which our grand daughters love.

Gorgeous book, with the perfect mix of facts and illustrations, and incredibly well thought out design (such as the illustrations matched perfectly to cut out windows and doors). My 11 year old spends hours poring over it, imagining families that could live in each home. It wasba Christmas gift and regularly returned to months later. Highly recommend!

A stunning book beautifully presented with pages of cut out windows to get a view inside and out of the history....very delightful indeed.

It's not as good as I wanted it's not bad but quite ordinary

Lovely book. Well illustrated and good quality card pages. I expect it's intended for children but I bought this for myself! I like dolls houses and miniatures so that's probably why I liked it.
